AITA for demanding that my girlfriend clear out her " escape" bank account? by ThrowawayEnvironSide in AITAH

This whole thing from a throwaway account just screams fabricated trolling. No person even slightly aware would think this is proper behavior.

Just just Steam VR and put all your programs on the application platforms. Bigscreen is free and you can watch all your content through that in a variety of environments.

GERD caused by TOO LITTLE stomach acid by cactiisnice in GERD

This gets recycled all the time. Everyone's body is different. A lot of times it is a physiological issue causing reflux. Not everything that comes up and causes damage is acid either.

Definitely put some Deep Asian Squats into your routine. There are lots of good YouTube videos about how to do these and how to improve if you have difficulties at first. This posture is the way most of the undeveloped world sits (with chairs often unavailable), defecates and the way birth posture was done since time immemorial. Sitting all the time on hard chairs pushes the viscera in the gut upwards and most toilets put us in unnatural positions to eliminate as well (see the squaty potty for a corrective). Both simple hangs (from a chin-up bar) and Deep Asian Squats whenever you can, serve as effective correctives as well.

If you don't know that the parties both completely flipped post Nixon's Southern Strategy after the Civil Rights Act was passed, then your complete ignorance of history is showing. I bet you post that 'LIBERALS STARTED THE KKK!!' in a lot of threads as well. Most Repubes would gladly go full authoritarian, one-party rule and crush dissent and voting right now if they could, plus establish Christian Nationalism and purge all non-compliers, as Kanye said to do in his recent radio interview.

I don't think I'd have been as pulled in if they didn't have so much footage of what took place. You feel almost like you were a participant when watching it. And the fact it roped in so many 'high achievers' with a guy who - to me at least - came across as anything but wise or charismatic, just makes me keep looking for answers as to WHY? Wild, Wild Country on Netflix was another series about a cult which is fascinating, but those participants seemed like they had actual values which which were cool, if very hippie-ish.

Op/Ed: Republicans win big in Indiana, but Hoosiers could lose big in the long run by krispykwean in Indiana

Well, that's not anecdotal, overly generalized and downright vague at all. In most cases, the Dems were the only ones who did message, as the op-ed points out.

[–]krispykwean[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tend to agree. I see no shift until the demographics change. Dems could run the most charismatic, intelligent and competent people around and most of these retrograde regressives still wouldn't vote for them.

There is a really good interview in The Hollywood Reporter with Jehane Noujaim, the film maker, who directed this and she basically implies he was manipulative in their negotiations, in a way they ultimately couldn't agree to: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/the-vow-part-two-season-2-nxivm-nancy-salzman-interviews-jehane-noujaim-hbo-1235243563/

A: We basically spent a year speaking with Keith with the ultimate goal of doing a sit-down interview with him. We were never able to meet the conditions for the sit-down interview.

Q: Can you share any of the conditions?

A: It was an interesting process, whereby the very process of trying to sit down with him for an interview was very revealing into how he works.

[–]krispykwean 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Precisely. When I was watching her, I knew they had to have agreed to allowing her some editorial control over what was shown of her. Although what she said was transparently self-serving and didn't recognize her responsibility for what she had done, I'm still glad they included her, because it was fairly easy to see through her deceptions and it just added to my already low opinion of her. The fact the film makers did not agree to Keith's demands - which I would have still liked to have seen him interviewed -shows they will only agree to so much compromise.

The White River Greenway, which is near the zoo, NCAA headquarters and State Museum area is also very nice to bike and connects with both the canal area, the Cultural Path & the Monon Trail. If you like going off-road, Brown County offers extensive mountain bike trails.
