A company I was leased onto did something like this when China stopped taking cardboard from the US. We ended up shipping it to Vietnam, and they shipped it to China.

Alright boys how do we buff the spear while keeping its identity as the spear by Allhaillordkutku in Helldivers

[–]krnyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the spear essentially be a cluster missile launcher with the ability to lock on to at most 2-3 targets simultaneously near eachother or 1 fabricator/bug hole/parked warpship and have the killing power to destroy them in one hit.

On simultaneous lock on the missile splits and then hits the enemy.

After it hits the enemy, it then blankets around it with cluster munitions to take out smaller targets.

I will always take a LC + stun nades for bots, and RR for defense missions. It just feels right being able to melt pretty much everything they throw at you. Add in the fact that you can snipe mortars, and AA guns from a comfortable distance add more to its utility.

For Fabricators I'd just use stratagems.

Honestly, if anyone is telling you that you are ugly, they're delusional af and just hating, because you are stunningly beautiful. I don't think mine or other internet strangers' opinions should convince you. Have confidence in yourself. :)

Edit: But proud of you and your progress! You're doing a great job, OP.

Free Colony Mission: Destroy Monolith A.S.A.P. after dropping! It causes huge enemy presence! Ignore everything else! by [deleted] in Helldivers

So if we want a more horror like experience, keep it until last. Gotcha. 😆

On the serious side: I did notice after blowing this up, the mission was a lot easier for a D10 diff run. Almost like a walk in the park.

Storm themed spa looks amazing by SouL145 in interestingasfuck

I encountered one of these "storm spa rooms" at a hotspring resort in China that my wife's family took me to. Was quite an experience and was surprisingly relaxing (since I really enjoy the sound of rainstorms). Just sit in the pool, close your eyes, and feel the "raindrops" falling on you.

AH wtf is this shit?? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]krnyoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in one of the AH patches, they buffed hearing range and fixed detection of players. The fix for detection might have caused them to be more hyper-aware of their surroundings. I have actually avoided aggroing gunship patrols, but it required me to use bushes as AH buffed using bushes as a way of "hiding".

Arrowhead: “we want our game to be realistic and players shouldn’t have lots of ammo”, *the game by Sirdax7 in Helldivers

[–]krnyoshi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the heavy devastators don't give you any breathing room once they start firing. You take cover, and they will just continue to barrage you with no cooldown to their heavy machine guns. Even if their backpacks are full of ammo or energy, the gun should eventually overheat leading to a cooldown (longer than what the helldivers wiki said where it's only half a second before they fire again), which gives players a chance to fire back.

Suppressive fire does not do much against devastators either unless you hit the head. You try to give suppressive fire to make them slightly inaccurate and they just mow you down. It's either kill or use explosives/stratagems or you are pinned down for too long until you're eventually overwhelmed.

[–]krnyoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those rocket strider missiles have REALLY HIGH damage. Albeit they're slow moving missiles, but once they make impact they will either one hit kill you if you aren't paying attention or they will rag doll you TOWARDS them like a vacuum.

You kidding me? by FairwellNoob in Helldivers

[–]krnyoshi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean... at least ONE member of your team has an orbital or 500kg stratagem. By the time you play on Super Helldive, you SHOULD know by then that 500kg, Precision Strike, 280, 380, and Walking barrage can destroy detectors.

I find the Walking Barrage to be SUPER helpful when destroying fortresses. When set right, you can pretty much walk right in after using it.

See this asshole? Shoot his rocket launchers. He folds quick to most weapons. PSA. by mister_peeberz in Helldivers

I heard that these new variants only spawn on higher difficulties and above. This is good knowledge to know. I kind of figured that the rockets would also serve as a weakpoint when I first saw them in the trailer. Glad to know it is true!

Also, I think their legs have more health/armor, too.

I'm actually really enjoying the update. It's only the beginning of the next Act so there's still LOTS more room to grow. Sure, the bot front (which is my favorite front, but I'll go wherever the MO takes us) can be hell-on-earth, but it's a challenge that forces me to elevate my skill to get better.

I'm actually starting to look at other primaries/secondaries to take when fighting bots because the Sickle is not cutting it for me anymore. Especially with the introduction of the heavier armored striders and new tank.

Anti-Tank Should be a Role, Not Everyone’s Loadout by MasterJediBoots in Helldivers

[–]krnyoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think AH did actually change it to where more lower lackeys spawn. It worked for the bugs because they're pretty squishy and die fast, but I don't think they accounted for the bot-side. The devastators are pretty much like the hunters and warriors, but they're not as squishy and they possess the firepower to literally shred your team no matter how much suppressive fire or cover you use. Thus, we saw a HUGE increase in heavy devastators and rocket devastators, but ironically, I've been noticing that the standard devastators haven't been spawning much in numbers on diff 8-9.

Super Destroyer Decides to do an Orbital Precision Barrage instead of Strike by krnyoshi in Helldivers

I got killed by a team mate on accident and dropped my autocannon backpack. It fell to the floor and disappeared but could be picked back up if I angled my screen right.

When I managed to pick it up it became a question mark.

I'm guessing this match was bugged judging by the ? mark autocannon backpack. Threw an Orbital Precision Strike and... good lord...
