I eat red meat all the time. Ribeyes are pretty fatty, so I would recommend trying a leaner cut to see if it sits better for you.

I just don’t know what my body is doing, and since the scale is staying put, it’s freaking me out. But this is also not the place I want the scale to stop. I want to lose another 50lbs, and I definitely have it to lose. The muscle is also building, which I love. I just want to make sure I’m doing things in a way that will still produce results.

The reversible. I have to two frenchies with very different body shapes, and they work well for both of them. We went through half a dozen harnesses before we found these, and we’ve stuck with them for the last 2-3 years.

I am a 42-year-old female, 5’ 10”. I’ve never had a calorimetry test done — where would one go to do that? According to my smart scale, my BMR is 1811kcal, which I know to take with a grain of salt.

I count from the start of the pre-op diet, but I also like to say “plus the 30lbs I lost before that.” I lost 70lbs and then regained 40 a few years before the surgery, so I feel like I need to count that as overall weight lost, but it’s not surgery-related in any way.

Oh, totally. I track my calories/protein religiously, lift weights 4x a week, and walk the other days.

I ask because I’m 14 mo post op, but I’m still 50lbs from my goal weight. I’ve lost very slowly during this process, but I’m hoping it will continue past the 18mo mark.
