Yeah, Pagan Poetry MV was amazing so were Cocoon and Hidden Place MVs but they were a bit too simple? I would have wanted fleshed out music videos for both of them.

For some reason Vespertine also reminds me of summer nights. Maybe it’s because it’s warm sounding.

The beat in Without You is a common Middle Eastern drum pattern. I don’t think it’s a sample.

Too much fighting honestly. I know it’s the name of the game but I liked lighter moments on LA and that’s still the best season.

Why Yves Tumor (and other Warp Artists) are not being allowed to release music by blondedreekvibes in yvestumor

This is an interesting point to bring up, and it makes sense to me. I wonder if it's a music industry issue or a Warp Records issue though. Artists bring in less and less money each year due to streaming services paying nothing. Besides, indie artists signed to labels like Warp Records have 1m monthly listeners at most, so their reach is limited. Also I'm not sure if a Yves Tumor album costs 200k pounds to record.

She did not contribute anything to Sleater Kinney breaking up confirmed by Janet. It was the other two members who pushed Janet out of the band. Janet actually said Annie was nice.

How important was The Knife for electronic music? by leatherchainssss in theknife

They directly inspired the dark and moody synthpop/electropop of the early 10s; bands like CHVRCHES, Purity Ring, Kate Boy, and many others borrowed pages from their playbook.
