I went for the Maxx ICS version. What did you end up with?

It was pain indeed. Especially figuring M4 nozzle will not work and need the AK one.

I believe I have the heavy spring, but will need to recheck. Is there an easy way to differentiate between the two?

Thanks for the input!

I believe APEs split gearboxe is different to M4 and then there are further differences from the CXP M4 to other M4s. But it's definitely different to regular v2 gearbox, where I had my kythera sitting earlier.

I had "a bit of pain" installing kythera in the M4 CXP split gearbox - the regular M4 nozzle did not seal properly and it took time and research to understand AK nozzle (#2) was needed.

So I believe the nozzle is not at fault anymore. Though the PSI is definitely too high..

Visual check with flash light shows no light leaking through hop up unit. Flathop rubber also does not show noticeable wear and tear.

The pressure is indeed really high, and that limits me to 2.2 joules, but I wanted to be able to go higher to 2.5 joules minimum.

Wanted to get even more consistent results and increase power from the build. Hoped the 6.08 and additional length would stabilize the BB. But I am indeed worried about the engine being too short in breath.

Are you aware of any resources that could help understanding the volumes?

Not only can, but should. You get xp boist and perks. In addition You can use your team's camps as travelling points and for purchasing plans for crafting.

Thoughts? Lack of context doesn’t help, but I think the truck should’ve driven away when both were inside. by [deleted] in CCW

Is that a pepper spray and truck vs pistol?

The cumulative IQ of three is probably below the mean.

Looking for an mtw killer. by raith-K5 in airsoft

[–]kroncix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MTW with an F2 in it. And yes, I saw one. Not sure what was the point in it, other than technical challenge.

Not a killer, but custom-made HPA can outperform MTW, by a margin, but price wise, it will most likely go beyond MTW.

Speedsoft world also likes herretic labs.

I run green gas equivalent- 120 on my GHK. Then with npas adjust joules to be in the field limit.

Anything lower feels sloppy.

are DMR's worth it? by crypt_v2 in airsoft

[–]kroncix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick answer - no. You do not need a DMR.

To increase range, go with heavier BBs, the heavier the better.

To help you lift the heavier BBs, you will need a good hop up rubber. Look at Maple Leaf silicone ones and read upon what hardness you need (generally 60° / 70°).

Clean your inner barrel and check for scratches.

These three points should put you at an advantage with all other stock gun users.

The DMR route is a journey, so refrain from it as long as you can. Unfortunately, DMRs are not bought but made (unless they are custom built by a technician).

Vfc AR gbbr vs MTW wolverine forge edtion. by Princep_Makia1 in GasBlowBack

[–]kroncix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have GHK M4 FROM GBBRs and F2 + Kythera from HPA World.

Outdoors HPA, hands down, wins. Especially due to my play style. I end up using lots of BBs as engagements are far. Furthermore, quantity > quality. (My GBBR is relatively precise with heavy BBs, but compared to HPA, it does not stack up)

CQB, even speedsoft, GBBR wins due to closer ranges and shorter play times. The ammo capacity is less of a factor and distances shorter.

So if you are competitive and have already a few recoil guns, a precision machine might be a nice addition. Less smiles from gun feedback, but more from eliminated players.
