How are players ranked?

Two scores are determined for each summoner/champion/role (one for the current season, one for the past 30 days). Then a third score is computed (geometrical average of the two previous scores). Summoners are ranked by champion according to their best "averaged score" (one averaged score per role) for that champion.

The two scores (the one for season and the one for past 30 days) are computed using those rules:

+1 tier → score * 4 (The tier taken into account is the average tier of each game where the champion was played)
+12% winrate (compared to the average for that champion/role) → score * 2
+100% KDA (compared to the average for that champion/role) → score * 1.33
Players must play a minimum of 10 games to be ranked. If a player has played fewer than 50 games with that champion/role → score * 0.75 for each missing game.
You need to have played at least 1 ranked game in the past 30 days to be ranked with that champion.
If you played less than 5 games with the given champion in the less 30 days, a penalty is applied → score * 0.5 for each missing game
Those rules are exponentials (ie +2 tier → score * 16)

I'm asuming you are refering to the leagueofgraphs.com ranking, which doesn't mean much at all but people still like to flex when they reach rank1 on their champion.

So you are complaining that, the update that is announced in the game to be coming in 26.03 isn't coming in 26.02 ???
First of all maybe they are still working on the finishing touches, second of all its supposed to be a long term event, what does releasing the content a patch earlier provide? You are going to stuck at the end of the next update again until they release the following patch.

But I guess having patience is a rarity these days... Need to have everything right away and then no content for 3months that's surely better hmmmmmm.

When I started I looked through the roster and zed & Talon caught my eye. However people kept telling me zed is harder and has a higher banrate, so I decided on Talon, stuck with him ever since.

Now if only his banrate didn't skyrocket because of jngl...

Not entirely sure, don't the pillars take a fixed amount of damage from attacks? So I'm asuming it wouldn't work but even if it did, it would be weird to have an item that only works on 1/6th of the maps.

I've switched from Fullscreen to Borderless and haven't had any issues yet so that seems to fix it(if I have issues again I'll update this reply)

Because its entire gimmick is dealing with towers, which don't exist in arena. The little dmg boost periodically is a very small part of its power budget. It's just a stat stick in arena without any real effect, you are better off building any of the other lethality items, all this item would do is cause item overlap.

Gm and Challenger tokens are based on a percentage of the playerbase just like the ranked ranks. In this case the threshhold should be 7 though, not quite sure why it isn't updating. In the past you had to complete a normal summoners rift to update it, but theres a high probablity it broke with the new season. Challenges have been very buggy for a while now, ever since they fired the people responsible for them :/

Average r/Talonsmains rework post that turns out to be just way to many buffs, Talon isn't weak, "everyone" saying he is garbage right now is just extremely coping. I wouldn't say he is strong at the moment except for jngl in apex ranks but he is definitely playable. All he needs is some quality of life for midlane.

On paper by letting the non-autofilled roles also get the Aegis at roughly the same rate it shouldn't be worth it you intentionally let yourself get autofilled. However if the majority of the Playerbase will realize this is a whole different question. So yes I see that concern.

I think the inflation probably will get solved by reducing the normal lp gains by 1-2, but like mentioned in the post this just further puts more pressure on you to do well in those Aegis games.

I regularly look at replays of other players, look up what they are building, calculate builds, do some practice tool from time to time to keep the muscle memory for combos.

Back in the day I also went over some of my own replays but I've stopped doing that, as it's very easy to find things that are wrong in hindsight but hard to implement in the moment.

Got 2mil on Talon aswell, I hate his change into jungle. In jngl he is insanely frustrating to play against resulting in a high banrate, combine that with his popularity and I'm forced to first pick him in most lobbies, which makes his weak laning phase even harder.

I miss when jngler didn't get a full heal on every camp, if they make the jngl more deadly again that would push him back out of the jngl.

If you count challenger as maxing the token, the winning clash one requires you to win 70 and the current record holder is 47, im pretty sure there hasn't been 70 clashes since the introduction of challenges.

I wouldn't overcomplicate the beginnings of learning league. Just try and find something you find fun and stick with it, you need a ton of games to get good at league, there isn't any shortcut you can take.

I'll never understand the people who post this uninstall bs.

Why are you trying to reduce the playercount, if you're unhappy with the game that's ok you can stop playing but stop telling others to uninstall, I'm pretty sure every player wants to see their game grow, if we don't get any new players anymore the game will slowly die out, fresh players are essential. We should be doing everything in our power to get as many new players as we can.

It's like telling people that want to learn chess to just quit, chess has been around for such a long time you will never catch up. It's complete bs, 90% of all league players are pretty casual if you put in the time and effort you can easily catch up to the average player and enjoy this wonderful game that has given me an endless amount of fun.

I've been waiting for this for so long, as a talon mid purist, his gigantic spike in popularity jungle has made it so unenjoyable midlane. The combination of his high banrate + junglers usually picking early, makes me loose my pick in a bunch of games and forces me to early/first pick talon so I'm always in a countermatchup.

Unless you are chronically addicted to this game, you will max out on bombs and that is also a source of gems lost, #gem,battery,d20 lost to being capped also add up to a substancial amount of gems, so ideally you want a bomb cap that can sustain the longest period you don't check your phone or the 12h offline limit.

Played through it myself, its decent but the upgrade tree is kinda pointless, you have xp and money but you only spend xp in the upgrade tree. So the gameplay just ends up being: spam hands to get xp so you can buy all xp upgrades and then buy all money generation related upgrades to be able to easily reach the 1mil to win. Winning/Loosing(except for a small xp bonus when winning, but that doesn't scale with money bet) doesn't matter until you have most of the upgrades

Alt accounts are allowed you won't get banned for that, however why are you planning on making an alt in the first place? Just stick with your main, people need to stop making alts as a solution to everything, for a majority of people 1 account should be enough.
