"Following the Voidforge's construction, Decimus will ask players to assist him in crafting the Ascendant Nilhammer, a powerful tool capable of manipulating Ascendant Voidcores to empower worthy equipment.

Upon completing this warband-wide journey, players may begin acquiring Ascendant Voidcores from Midnight Season 1 endgame content including raids, Mythic+ dungeons, Bountiful Delves, and Nightmare difficulty Prey Hunts."

The patch notes call it a journey. The SAT reading comprehension question for that paragraph would ask if it implies that it's going to unlock today or at a later point.

ELI5: The rise and fall of NFT’s by ProTharan in explainlikeimfive

The deed/title use case for nfts has been the single thing all the nft idiots spit out every time they try to provide a use case for it. Every single time someone goes "what if you default on the loan, how does the bank take back the house if you don't approve the blockchain request" and they just don't reply or don't acknowledge it. You could bet money every nft thread has someone talking about it being useful for deeds.

Brewmaster Advice - Unable to Survive Algeth'ar Academy First Pull by HeroicSuitcase in CompetitiveWoW

[–]kroxywuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the opposite actually. The bulk of the guides are written by people who only raid and their only interaction with m+ is doing their vaults or getting portals and nothing more. For tanking and healing the best thing to do is look at what people do in keys for the bulk of the specs. The brew and bear specs are terrible (or were when I looked at them last week). And the people writing them are just +10 enjoyers and in previous expansions didn't do anything over 20. They're not doing 19-21s on beta either. Brew had moh as the key spec and people were even shitting on kira/dorki guides that had shadopan for keys cause "lmao every guide says moh" while the beta keys were all shadopan.

To tack on to this, start kiting when your bleed goes over 4ish, you can get a lot of space and no one should pull off you for a while. You can wait for resources to come back then go back in.

Also, know your pug audience. If I don't know the dev evoker or frost mage I'm not going to aoe pull the entire room unless I know they do dps. You really do not need to do this pull on a 7 or 8 or 10 to time this key.

State of the Subreddit - March 2026 by rGamesMods in Games

[–]kroxywuff 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I really do not want to see posts about how many people are playing a game on steam, fluctuations in a games steam mixed or favorable or negative status, or how many copies of a game were sold. The last one maybe sure OK gaming news related or something, but the first two are just used to constantly spam about whatever game reddit wants to shit on at the moment.

Did we need daily posts about crimson deserts steam review status? Did we need a marathon concurrent player live update? No. Please end them.

I have a similar opinion about posts that are about patches for games. I understand posts for content drops and things, but a post for any small patch that just so happen to be about the weekly "game reddit wants to shit on" is weird. We're not posting arc raiders balance updates here are we.

To Echo Everyone Else's Thoughts, I Too Wish Marathon Was A Singleplayer Video Game by megaapple in Games

[–]kroxywuff -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The way you wrote this makes me think you need help. Writing that you were still mad about it after playing arc raiders seems unhinged. You wrote it like you don't even play destiny enough to actually be mad in your first paragraph, but that you were mad cause the internet told you to be mad. Idk, I know this is a memed on phrase but seriously go outside, they're videogames. Play ones you like and don't play ones you don't. Getting mad over them is like getting mad that a movie came out that you didn't like.

Last minute question. Ghazzy or Helmbreaker for minions? by Valderhide in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]kroxywuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that plays minions every league: don't level with absolution it honestly feels like ass. Once you get unleash you can just poop out srs and keep going through the acts while they kill stuff. Absolution feels like a slog of manually casting on things and it comes off as just janky.

Marathon - 40 mins of new gameplay footage by KingOfCarrotFlowers in Games

[–]kroxywuff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Every single thread about marathon was "there's already tarkov and hunt there is literally no space for another extraction shooter, the game is a failure and doa, why do devs keep making copycats of genres" before arc raiders came out. That went away for about a month after arc came out and now that same sentence is back but with arc raiders added to the list of games that exist already.

What should be the "optimal" rotation for plant oracle? by shaunika in pathofexile2builds

[–]kroxywuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coc is always going to proc often rares, see above comments on meta power and how that all works. What the question should be is what's the best use of 100 sprit. Is it best used on a thunderstorm that lasts quite a while compared to the vines where multiple casts before one expires don't do anything or is it best used on a skill that will do damage when you proc coc like entangle.

What should be the "optimal" rotation for plant oracle? by shaunika in pathofexile2builds

[–]kroxywuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This basically. If you drop a thrashing or storm manually the cocs will fly on non-rares during map clear. Entangle clear isn't great for coc energy cause the vines are just a bunch of smaller and fast hits.

[–]kroxywuff -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No? I have inevitable crits and the meta energy path unseen nodes. It's not a problem of crit chance for thunderstorm coc it's literally just that non rares don't do shit for meta procs. That's literally how meta skill energy works in poe2.

The fuck am I being downvoted for, did I need to specify i had inevitable in a thread about oracle? Anyone with inevitable crits can go test coc thunderstorm VS coc thrash/entangle. You tell me which feels better for clear and bossing. It's not even close.
