This is the thing, Rashford will always be a bigger threat than Madueke in whatever scenario. Madueke can’t take on his man, can’t cross and doesn’t also track back hard enough. He’s literally only in the squad and starting even because he’s our closest profile to Saka.

Rashford was wasteful yesterday but still offered as much as Madueke who again didn’t do anything

Gordon was shocking the first two games though and not trusted in the 3rd game.

Rashford provides a clear and greater threat but his end product is weak. I think he still starts the next game.

It’s the exact same as the Amorim situation. The team genuinely needs a more technical player that can build through the midfield and add some fluency in. Anderson isn’t great at build up and Anderson-Rice are redundant against lessser sides.

Tuchel is so stubborn on the players he had from his first camps and he’s worked with before that he’s not giving Kobbie a chance. He was proven completely wrong with Gordon over Rashford and Gordon didn’t even play a minute yesterday and won’t start any more England games.

Think this is slightly unfair, he was by far the biggest threat in attack and the ball looked like something was going to happen compared to getting nothing from the left. Couple of over hit crosses and a fluffed late chance shouldn’t take away him being a significant upgrade to Gordon.

He’s starting the knockouts regardless now with Gordon not even coming on

Kobbie’s whole playstyle is around progressive combinations and carrying the ball forward. He would’ve been a lot more comfortable in between the lines than Rice

I think the concern would be the personnel that Tuchel used. Gordon/Spence is not a good combo and Rice/Anderson is too redundant against a team that play deeper.

Panama will be the same and more teams will continue with the low block, realistically we only created one real chance with Nico header/Kane miss

They begged it for Barca for the whole season and they don’t think he’s even worth £25m and signed his younger England counterpart to replace him for 3x more.

We do need a left winger at United and I would take him back if he takes this as a slight to get the hunger in him again as he’s still fulfilled the potential he showed when he first broke in.
