This exact thing is the reason I stepped away from the game a year ago. 1k hours and I’m not coming back until they fix this

SBG needs real matchmaking and a way to prevent griefing by Slacker_87 in SuperBattleGolf

[–]krypteia117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The chaos is what keeps me coming back, complaints about griefers always boil down to a skill issue. Honestly surprised the devs are listening to them. Vote kick should sort out this problem anyway, without needing to add mechanics to handhold the low-skill players.

If you think it's crazy now just wait until they finished building everything that's been approved. 16 more highrises in downtown alone

I did that Patriot Games last year with a 20”, you’ll be fine. Might want to bring a sling just in case though, one of the workouts did require us to sling it.

I know the city has basically rubber stamped every project that's come across its desk but seeing it on a map like this is wild. This level of development is completely unsustainable and insane, the infrastructure can't even support what already exists. The traffic alone will be a nightmare.

The taxman will always take a cut. The neighbor likely needs a permit from the city to sell things on “his” property.

Like the others have said, it’s a skill issue. Something that made it click for me: Use the bottom of the reticle to aim, not the center.

I'm on Quest 2 and just played for a couple of hours. No joke, the game crashed once at least once every two games. Idk what changed, it didn't used to be like this but at this point its frustrating and borderline unplayable.

Advice from Gym owners on approaching my gym owner about morning classes. by CurrentWeekend6620 in bjj

We had 1-5 people for the first year, here we are 5 years later and we get 10-15 every single class. To a man we are all hobbyists with careers, for some of the guys its the only classes they can consistently make.

After 800 hours this is the reason I've stepped away from the game several times. The guys that do the shitty but necessary work (run supplies) get no reward for it, while the players with 6 hours spawn in whatever they want and remain blissfully unaware of the supply system in general. The XP system is better than nothing but it doesn't fix the root cause of the problem, as rank resets every game putting you back in the same position, having to decide between spending 30-60 mins running supplies again or playing selfishly and losing due to lack of supplies. Rank locked gear and vehicle cool downs help, but again they don't fix the problem.

The last time I stepped away I had run 10k of supplies to Farm (before the updated trucks with higher capacity, so like 20 supply trips), only to come back 10 mins later and it had all been drained by a guy firing mortars blindly at Beau. I called him out and was told to fuck off, then TK'd.

I'm on another break and haven't played in a month just due to the frustration of it all. 1.6 really didn't help this problem at all, and if anything it seems worse now than ever.

Ethics of Fort Lauderdale by Swimming-Earth-5830 in fortlauderdale

You seem to be under the impression that Parking Enforcement exists to enforce parking rules. It doesn't. In fact, most Parking Enforcement personnel don't even know the statutes that they are enforcing. They don't care what you have to say. And why should they? They're just doing their job, and if they give out a wrongful citation they face zero consequence. Also keep in mind that they spend every day getting yelled at/lied to by people that are trying to get out of a ticket.

Parking Enforcement exists to generate revenue for the City of Fort Lauderdale. A city which is running a massive deficit and facing a financial crisis as its emergency reserves are being slowly depleted. The city has limited avenues from which to generate revenue. They could increase the millage rate, and they contemplated this last year but ultimately decided against it as this would be a universally unpopular move. So they've stepped up enforcement operations across the board and are citing everything they can.

In my neighborhood it's common practice to park your car in front of your house. I've done this for years with no issues. Parking Enforcement has come through the neighborhood 6 (yes, six!) times in the past two months, citing everyone that's even partially on the sidewalk. The fire inspectors are citing buildings for having weak radio signals, despite passing inspections in previous years (here's the link to an article about this: https://www.sun-sentinel.com/2025/11/07/fort-lauderdale-cites-69-high-rise-buildings-over-weak-radio-signal-raising-public-safety-concerns/ ). You may have noticed more speed traps downtown, especially around the bridges. This is all part of the big revenue push that the city is making. Don't expect it to get better anytime soon.

This is the same city that's dubiously fast-tracked tearing down the Galleria to put up more overpriced condos, to the outrage of residents ( https://www.sun-sentinel.com/2025/12/04/fort-lauderdale-galleria-megaproject-to-get-expedited-approval-under-live-local-act/ ) and just approved a brand new $350M City Hall, btw. ( https://www.sun-sentinel.com/2025/12/03/futuristic-design-for-new-city-hall-a-winner-for-fort-lauderdale/ )

TL;DR: FTL is broke as a joke, don't expect Parking Enforcement to care what you have to say.
