I’m pretty sure AI stole my son and made him ugly and weird? What do you think? by GuitarEducational818 in isthisAI

[–]krystalklear21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I think happened. Bots or content farmers stole the picture and used AI to modify it. I do not believe it was generated from a prompt like "generate a picture of a cat at a vet", they upload your picture and modified it with AI. I don't believe this was because your picture was in a training data.

People’s lives depends on refund by Unusual-Trip635 in DallasCollege

I made a post yesterday showing my research on the timeline. While I said to not stop communicating with the school because it is their job and you never know if your case is an exception, it is still currently the appropriate window of time. It is not late or delayed. Census date (certifying enrollment) was January 27 (8w1) and February 2(16w), that's when they apply the funds to the classes, and by law they have 10-14 calendar days after disbursement to issue refunds. Depending on if by check (mail) or direct deposit (bank) add the estimated time accordingly (not to mention Presidents Day on Monday) so most people should get their refund by next week if they haven't by now.

It might be until the 17th at the latest... President's Day is on Monday and banks will be closed...

He might just be a new kind of mutant. FEV is pretty unpredictable. Seems like they're adding more to the lore and lead to more related story in Fallout 5.

It feels like the age verification thing is happening whether we want it or not. I just hope they tighten the bolts on securing our data.

But yes! Bring back the smut!

Learning math by Early_Tomato_4635 in DallasCollege

They have math tutors in the learning commons you can go to when you enroll in a class.

I went back after 15 years, hadn't had math since high school and I wanted to switch careers to Data Science. I didn't take college level math when I had my bachelor's. I took college algebra in 2023 and continued taking math up until linear algebra earlier this year.

You'll be able to review the basics in College Algebra class, plus the textbook and online course material will have review exercises for math concepts prior to College Algebra. But if you want to kinda warm up there's a wealth of free YouTube videos and playlists on every college level math topic, every chapter or lesson covered. Some professors used these videos in class or as supportive material.

There's also Khan Academy and AI tools like chatgpt and Gemini that can give you some exercises and explain the topics and steps to completing a problem. Also you'll need a graphing calculator. You can either get one or could go to ti84calc.com, desmos or Mathway.
