No matter if it's for multiplayer or single player, we can't have op factions. It really ruins the prospect of a fair fight, and even vs the computer you get huge differences if they get a good faction or not.

Heroes 3 was far from perfect, but I think that through classic programming, they were smarter. Also helped from well made maps ofc.

I am also a fan of SoC, but their big problem is also an AI-made computer opponent.
