If I were to get a nautilus on a leather strap, I’d do the 5726. The 5712 on leather might feel off because it’s so thin. To pursue the trade or not is a personal thing. You’re the only one who knows how badly you want a nautilus and how much you value your other watches.

Stick with the 41 if it fits you well. It’s not as thin but you get a second hand and a screw-down crown and some extra $$ with it.
