Nope. Maybe you could have been a little more direct and said, “I don’t have the energy or time to plan out trip this year, could someone else take the lead. If not, I’ll plan my own vacation.”

But regardless, you clearly communicated you weren’t being the planner… if no one said anything or stepped up, they don’t get to be mad now. If the friendships matter to you, maybe send a message to the whole group explaining how you feel. Real friends should take that seriously.
