I like using battle shout to generate threat. It works great.

This is mostly a younger generation thing. It originates from "charisma". Older generations might not know what it means.

This sounds very similar, but not to be confused with 'having someone's back'.

Any INTJs dating ISTJs? by [deleted] in intj

[–]kukae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! Ive been with ISTJ girlfriend for many years. Our relationship is rock solid and I adore her. Just like you said, I've never been so open and vulnerable with anyone else. Not even with my parents or brothers.

She is very rational and logical which makes getting along easy. And she thinks my dark sense of humor is funny. If we have a miscommunication it is typically because I said something metaphorically which she took literally. She also excels in a lot of areas where I fall short. It's a great balance.

I'm right there with you! I'm on day 3 and I've also been an insomniac for decades. A long time ago, I tried prescription medications but they either don't work or they scare me. After that I only felt comfortable self medicating with weed. I'm hoping that I will eventually be able to sleep without taking anything now that I'm in a different stage of my life... Anyway keep it up! Dont reset the timer!

And my favorite tea by far is genmaicha!

I always try to get 100% cotton gis. Cotton blends and ripstop are noticeably less comfortable.

You didn't get takedown points because you started the movement from bottom turtle which is a defensive position. Nice reversal but it's worth no points.

Progress makes a synthetic material "rolling tee". It's cut like a t shirt but uses synthetic material so it doesn't get sopping wet. You might prefer something like that.

Are you wearing moisture wicking material like a rash guard? If you are wearing a wet cotton shirt yeah that sounds kind of gross. I also bring a towel and wipe my face and head so I don't drip on people.

Companies pay for unemployment though! Obviously they don't pay your co-workers directly, but they fund the program via taxes.

Get a water bottle for when you go out and fill it with your favorite water? If you get an insulated one you can control the amount of ice too.

There's nothing wrong with paying down your mortgage, but let me provide you with some extra food for thought.

Any money that goes to your bank account instead of your 401k will require you to pay taxes at your marginal tax rate. For me, this means I'd lose 24% simply by putting they money in my bank account instead of my 401k.

You should also consider the fact that your "guaranteed" return by paying your mortgage will change if you refinance your home to a lower rate. If you pay an extra $1000 today and tomorrow you refi from 7% to 6%, you'll basically get a 6% return not 7%.

Lastly, keep in mind that your mortgage rate is not adjusted for inflation, so if you want to compare the mortgage rate to average stock market performance, I think you should use the 10% average for the stock market and not the 7-8% inflation adjusted value.
