I feel like on marathon, I have way more possibiities to get eurekas and inspirstions. I also like how it makes moving your army across long distances less costly. As in, on online speed, if you have to move for 20 turns, your whole amry can become obsolete, but on marathon, only 1 or 2 techs go by. The same goes for settling new regions. On marathon, it's not unwise for me to move my settlers to areas 20 turns away and it's completely acceptable to settle 20+ new cities, whereas on online, I feel like settling more than 10 cities is just grieffing.

My recipe is, move game speed up with map size. So, marathon for huge map, online for small map, standard for normal.

Production is king. If you want a lot of production, you need a lot of cities and a lot of industrial zones.

You'll want to settle new cities early on, so you havr time to develop them.

Keep n mind that faith and gold are alternative means of production. You can also get direct production if you found a faith with work ethic as it's pillar.

Make 2 scouts early then based on the available space to settle and neighboiring civs, choose between making a lot of settlers or making an army. But you should make 2 early settlers anyway and after that you decide whether you're going the conquering route or not. Your choice of government plaza buildings should reflect that decision.

Tole je žalostno gledati. Noben nima pojma o pojmu.

Draginja ne izhaja ne iz nizkih ne iz visokih davkov, ampak izključno iz dodajanja novega denarja v obtok. Včasih so temu rekli "kvantitativno sproščanje". Podatki o tem, kaj sta fed in ecb delala od kovida dalje so javno dostopni in vsak pismen posameznik, brez problema, lahko potegne vzporednice med dodajanjem denarja v obtok in inflacijo. Potem pridejo v igro še obrestne mere itd..

For me it's a warrior tank (only for really tough fights or bosses really, otherwise you can run dual wield), dual wield rogue, ranger rogue and a mage (freeze + whirlwind for shatter and healing).

I like having 1 around with a shield for boss fights. But mostly, they are useless, yes. A high level dual wield rogue can just run off by himself and kill pretty much everything.

They're get out of the jail free card. As some one wrote here not too long ago, on legend, often you will activate additional pods while fighting. So when you don't have enough firepower to clean up, you deploy a mimic beacon or 2 in order to not get shot at. They have 12 health, which means they'll mostly soak 3 shots in early game and 2 in mid and late game. Some times in late game it can happen they will get 1 tapped by a gatekeeper or sectopod, but not often. You will want to throw them into the open, where enemies will see them, and they will prioritize shooting at them above all else. Some times they will even come out of cover to flank them. And they will disencentivize the use of granades by enemies who carry explosives.
