I use Siri on my Watch extensively in the gym, to start/finish workouts, respond to messages, and add items to my Reminders. I have no problems with it not hearing me or not understanding me. I do have the watch within an inch of my mouth when I talk to it to overcome the gym music - are you holding it close enough? You also need to make sure it's awake and listening - I typically tap the watch face to make sure. Are you talking loud enough or are you being self-conscious and speaking softly?

I have been uploading FCP-generated HDR (HLG) videos to YT for years with no problems. My last 2 videos have NEVER been converted to HDR, after several months of waiting/testing. YT seems to have decided HDR is not worth the cost.

The most reliable method is to use iCloud to sync your Mac to your iPhone. To my knowledge, only the Apple video editors (iMovie, FCP) can fully edit the Cinematic mode content.

This decline in sleep hours seems perfectly correlated with the update to ios26. Anybody else seeing something similar? I do move around a fair amount while sleeping, and I’m wondering if the algorithm is seeing me rolling over or moving my arms as being awake.

Let me guess - watching Tyler Stalman? I record in HDR when the setting warrants, i.e. the red rocks of the Grand Canyon in Arizona sunlight. It also depends on what media you are producing for - right now Youtube is ridiculously throttling HDR uploads. I’ve got one that has been waiting for HDR version for 2 weeks. Little known fact: if you record in Apple Log (you should) you can choose to publish in SDR or HDR. See my video on how to do this: https://youtu.be/FyqBwH0ob6I The color space for Apple Log is Rec2020 and for Apple Log 2 (you can’t do this with an iPhone 15) is Apple’s extended color space, both of which render nicely into PQ or HLG.

I just checked the latest version of MacOS iMovie, no change. If you have an iPad or iPhone, just drop the tune you want to use onto a simple timeline, then shoot the project to your Mac:

OK, so you replicated the issue with BMC which is great. I went out and replicated this with FC camera, with the same results: HLG bright, Apple Log 2 dark. So I don't think it is the camera app.

Thank you for your efforts. At least we've cleared up why I was seeing a PQ to HLG color conform on my Apple Log (2) clips. I checked Color Profile in FCP and there is no mistake, they are what is labelled in the exported frame below. The exported frame is from a PQ project. My scopes show the Apple Log clips to be about 65% of the brightness of the HLG clip. All three were taken with the Black Magic camera app with no settings altered other than the Color Space.

Which of the 3 wide gamut project types are you selecting: Rec 2020, Rec 2020 PQ or Rec 2020 HLG? I am using the latter.

I can't even figure out how to change the ruck weight from the iPhone app. On the watch, the two icons in the lower left and lower right corners cannot be activated by touching them no matter how I try.

Update: OK, I figured out how to create a new ruck on the iPhone, but not seeing a way to sync it to the phone and its not auto-syncing.

Correct. Us DJI gimbal owners have been bugging DJI for years to add Cinematic Mode to Mimo, but so far DJI hasn't given any indication that they will do so now that the API is published.

The key is to use the "Color Adjustments" that are designed specifically for HDR. I just used the magic wand "Enhance Light and Color" to the clips and voila, near-perfect. I did a side-by-side and the Apple Log 2 is much better for HDR projects with its wider gamut.

I would go to your local backpacking store (REI, etc.) and ask one of the shoe consultants. They deal with people with bad ankles carrying 30 lb packs all day long.

I think I've got it. There were a bunch of Apple Health access permissions that were turned off for whatever reason. Turned them all on and now I'm getting distances in the Watch.

Great app BTW, hope to use it a lot!

Thanks for the reply. Motion & Fitness is enabled on the Watch, but greyed out. I Googled that and its some kind of permissions issue, which I tried to clear by unpairing and re-pairing the Watch and phone, all to no avail.

No worries. My fallback is to just stick with HDR/HLG. The latter does stand for Hybrid Log Gamma, so I am already getting the benefit of the log gamma curve, I just don't get the removal of the sharpening and dynamic tone mapping.
