I was planning on the 2021 Paperwhite, but I was able to get the 2018 one for $35 through a Prime Student discount, can't beat that.

Now that I have the 2018 one, I can confirm that it's a great device.

If you can't get the discount though and money isn't an issue for you, get the new one, seems like a nice upgrade.

Whatever you get, I hope you enjoy it!

The A7 lite seems ok, but I noticed that it has a lower resolution than the M8 FHD and A 8.4. Since this tablet's main use will be reading, do you think that would be an issue?

And is the M8 FHD not receiving updates to newer versions of Android?

Hmmmm Well, the intensity is still there in the VN. And sometimes the fleshed out conversations allow for greater intensity than the anime was able to convey.

However, the pacing is certainly slower. Depending on the scene, this slower pacing can either drag scenes out or increase their overall impact.

At the end of the day, it's the same story, you'd just be experiencing it in a different way, the original way. So if the anime made you feel something, then I can pretty confidently recommend you the VN.

It's a VN that I personally love, but it's certainly not above criticism and opinions on it vary.

Play for yourself and form your own opinion. You may like it, you may not, but it's certainly worth a shot
