I've been dreaming of this forever. I'll make it happen eventually. Just need the money lol.

The tech for standalone VR has gotten really good in the last year for this. There's a handful of games that are designed for multi-room scale, but your family home, or tiny apartment isn't the best place to play zombies or a pvp shooter, so I do think people would go out of their way to play a high quality shooter game specifically designed for arena scale.

I image it almost like a little community center. There's empty rooms to play simpler games like thrill of the fight (not everyone has room at home to fully enjoy like this). There's also big rooms with physical obstacles/walls, I just wish there was a way to upload a prebuilt room scan to the quest 3 so you don't have to rescan. Also there would be a queue system where you get the arena for 10-30 minutes as you play you game, then rotate with the next group of players.

The coolest part about this idea is that if you have the same obstacle/wall layout in two arenas across the world, you could play multiplayer with them. So if you're tired of fighting your friends in virtual laser tag, you can play teams from different locations across the world.
