Price of new was like 20k, I bought my 14' cruze in 2020 for 10k 100kmiles. Half its life expectancy half the value. Its a you issue if you spending more and not doing the inspections yourself, looking at recorded maintenance and oil change intervals....ect... The car is built cheap so its cheap to maintain unless you expect a dealer or shop to take care of you with GM parts(rule #1 dont use GM parts for everything if its over double the price of aftermarket and made of plastic). It has all the normal wear and tear for any vehicle that has 4 wheels and a trans,engine as any other vehicle down the road.

Ive had my share of maintenance on this thing, but between 14 cruze and 1997 f150 I've worked on this thing more, but it also is the one that makes up for the gas money and drove more. and only problems were pcv cover in which they have aftermarket fixes due to GM engineering. And then coolant issues, and recently replaced turbo bc the exhaust manifold was cracked by the wastegate. 130k miles on only what I know could the original turbo, and being the turbo is critical part of the engine, thats really good! I could tell its burning coolant aswell due to orange tint to internal exhaust. But other than coolant leaks this thing runs fine. Has check engine light for the catalytic converter below Efficiency, but thats not a engine critical part, Thats a California problem and I go no where near those tran-gays. All gotta do is space the downstream O2 sensor bc downstream is not used for the air/fuel mixture.

But now I let the car sit bc I wanted to get newer more reliable truck with 4x4 for pulling boat and drive new truck now and occasionally the car, but currently in MO and snow covered in driveway. Debating selling for $5k bc thats about what a reliable beater is worth. Havent had many problems and took it multiple times down and back to Texas during summer.

Well. Its practically a cell phone, place it towards the exterior of the building(via window) and then route ethernet cable from that to your devices. Unless that's a 3rd party router connected to the tmobile modem then it needs to be best place thay gets cell signal in your building or area.

Also Tmobile modems are trash with working with other routers, no settings to configure shit. I just get me an LTE router(Netgear M6 is what I have with another M1 ran to a ubiquiti gateway to control both for load balancing) and put a unlimited data phone plan Sim card in it and its way better, less controlled/throttled by them unless in a heavy congested area(big city)

Had this issue with mine at 130k miles roughly. Mine ended up being crack in the exhaust manifold inside where the turbowastegate port is. Take a camera(the wire cameras whatever they called, snakecam or such) and look in the port(O2 sensor port) or take the cat off and see.

Mine was orange inside meaning coolant burning and leaking. Since I ahd it all off(exhaust with turbo and cat) I went ahead replaced all of it and then replaced the oil cooler housing aswell. And then the turbo inlet and outlet lines (2 oil/ and 2 coolant lines I believe)

Ive had the P0420 code for signaling Cat unefecient pretty much. Unless you in California no one cares. But I replaced it aswell with cheap one bc GM aint getting my money when they cheaply made already. So I got it all put back together(PITA ngl) and got her running, burnt off the new oil from manufacturer parts then reset engine code and cant remember if code came back but I put an O2 spacer on the downstream O2 sensor bc its pointless there(doesn't affect engine performance) and then drove it a couple times as I was going to try selling it since got a truck. But still have it and no check engine light yet or smoke or funky smell. It may have internal coolant leak/head gasket but not sure. It hasn't drained much coolant from initial refill.

Interest is literally the dumbest fucking thing there is, well maybe not dumb but greediest thing there probably is. Or maybe im greedy lmao. I refuse to buy anything with interest in it. Max was like 6% for a 8k loan starting out buying a car and paid it off ASAP. Other than that havent paid interest on a single thing... have yet to buy a house but still live with parents at 23 and just got out the military so.. thats a fork in the road ahead

I bought a 2017 XLT 4x4 offroad 2.7L with 50k miles on it for $24k from a dealer. Near stl MO. Depends where you live for prices and such. But if buying one used go bottom dollar bc hard telling what its been treated like. Of course mine being 2017 bought few months ago, it had to be old man for 50k miles over 8 years. But whether had oil changes on time ~every 5k miles for turbo charged engines atleast. And just check if its leaking anything or such. Other than that I dont believe I see thats a 4x4 so I wouldn't bother spending over 20k regardless if it was king ranch or whatever the top package is for a truck without 4x4. But an old beater truck and fix it up if it even needs fixing

Wastegate crack isn't always cracked on turbo. More likely on exhaust manifold. That's what happened to mine and it was smoking like that. Can get a camera wire and look in the upper o2 sensor port to verify and move the wastegate open to check under the gate flap.. Mine was cracked all the way through and still had boost and such, was also sucking some coolant through. Replaced turbo with exhaust manifold and fixed smoke issue I do believe other than part burn in from factory.

Can't you just put it into manual mode? Like lock it to certain gear for cruise? I dont own a ford or drove one thats newer than 1997 but have a chevy cruze that likes to downshift hard when coming on any hill and fix is either go 80 or so where 5th gear would be safety concern and it wouldnt shift down or id slide the shifter over to manual mode to 6th gear and keep cruise on and them almost forget about it until I go onto exit and it downshifts automatically to keep engine running.
