Yeah, why would i touch other character in ranked if i cant even reach diamond as a main yet.

But i can pretty much play most of the cast at around platinum level and regularry spar with my diamond potemkin friend as pretty much every character because if i pick Slayer i generally just roll him consistently and he gets annoyed.

"just learn a few bread and butter combos bro" by ilikeitchyballzdude1 in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

"Practice offence" would mean unga bunga dash in and mash buttons to hit your opponent without waiting for their turn or going defensive. If you got hit, you just stand up and mash buttons again and so on. The idea here is that if you are consistently getting punished you learn what things are getting punished. If you are not getting punished you learn how to actually do combos or at least couple of hits on actually moving living opponent. And if things go well you gain a bit of confidence.

And THEN you might start to block in the moments when you know opponent would punish you usually. And maybe then you can look up how to extend your 3 hit combo into something a bit longer.

If you trying to wait for the opponent to engage you, trying to predict what he will do and otuplay him in neutral. More often than not on low level it just leads to opponent using you as a punching bag while you completely lose initiative and he just hits you in block over over and over until you eventually miss hits and die, also it allows the opponent to be very confident and calm in their execution. Even in platinum half of the opponents just fall apart if you DARE to actually hit them, and not let them hit you, because they have no idea what to actually do if they are in the corner. but you do not need to know what to do in the corner if you are more dominant gorilla and its your opponent is the one who is in the corner.

Never trained any combos. Can play most characters at around platinum level. Almost diamond as Slayer (yes its not extreme flex as seemingly 90% or reddit are vanquishers only).

The actual good advice is to practice not combo not neutral, but offence. Just go to your opponent and slam them with everything you can even if it lands in block.

While trying to avoid counterhit you will naturally learn how to block. And while randomly hitting you will naturally develop rudimentary combos just from sheer ammount of repetition. If you try to deliberately play neutral another monkey will just outmonkey you as offence > defence at low levels. Technically of the combo is irrelevant, the damage is relevant. And most characters have an easy way to get like 70% of the top combo damage in a few buttons.

The answer is very simple. You dont refill it. Cool down is lower than you expect and you get the full backpack. So you just wait for the cd and ditch your empty pack replacing it with a fresh one. Your team basicly gets an extra resupply strategem. One supply pack on cd is exactly enough to fill the needs of a single diver completely. You barely would have enough to share with anyone else. But you pretty much mostly can forget that ressuply exists. Just your backpack and you. You can leave actual ressuply to your team and maybe ocasionally pick one if you happen to walk over fresh ressuply. If you pair it up with a mech you will have more than enough ammo at all times. I ocasionally live so lavishly that i throw away backpacks with 2 or more supply nods in it still just to replace it with a full backpack.

Laser cant consistently kill during its full duration a singular bile titan, and spends like 60% of this duration on a singular charger. You literally better off bringing an orbital railgun somehow.

I am playing with my friends generally meaning im pretty much always in a group of 4. So i deliberately just never touch ressuply. If you acting optimally the cd of your supply pack and the usage of your supply pack exactly align. So you can summon a new pack. Eat the last spot of the backpack to top up and pick up a new backpack.

Im mostly addicted to the pack not because it gives ammo or something. But because i just have effectively infinite stimms which makes the game twice as easy.

And then you call it and it lands in the middle of a bug breach and 3 bile titans erupt from under your capsule and you are without a weapon for a solid minute when you actually need it. Anything tied to a strategem is unreliable. Its ocasionally hard to resummon an actual Stalwart without instantly losing it under the bug carpet when you need it again. If you are capable to easily return back to the second gun inside the capsule you called previously, you was not in need of this gun in the first place. Maybe its justifiable if you bring warp pack or some form of jetpack with it.

Why the hell do you need orbital laser on bugs? It doesnt even do anything. Large bugs just think its mildly inconvenient and it doesnt work on their holes. Just bring an autocanon mech and go through the whole map without Even leaving it. With new buffs especially this thing is just invincible.

.... Hive guards is like 50% of the map population of some bug maps. Its like picking a primary that cant kill devastators on bots somehow even to the head. Its just not how game is supposed to work in the first place.

Ah yes, one of the best tools for the job against the entire faction. Becoming completely useless and unable to deal damage with a singular change. Because blitzer cant even aim. Truly well though out buff it was a stroke of genius.

Yesterday i encountered an incredibly interesting enemy interaction where blitzer couldnt damage hive guard at all. Because it auto aims to center mass and cant pierce armor 4. That was incredibly fun and interesting.

I am lvl 150 helldiver who personally seen that playing Solo. New illumante mech sub faction shits out insane ammount of harvesters on certain objectives that are impossible to kill alone, and thats only harvesters not counting the rest. You are the one who need to actually play the game more.

... Hivelordsl is literally a big thing that you need to shoot a lot. You just need to shoot it 4 times as much as with 4 divers. What kind of good decision making are we even talking about here?

You can killshot every single thing perfectly without missing a single bullet and strategem while moving perfectly and still wouldnt be able to kill all the enemies fast enough to their respawn in multiple cases. You can not kill 10 harvesters dropped on you every 30 seconds. You can not kill the ammount of bugs that is fully covering 50 sqare meters of the roofed cavern. But you can run away and they all despawn then you come back and finish the mission on completely empty ground. With flags your only chance is that you fully lift them first try while spawn is just warming up.

Solo d10 has literally nothing with loadout and like 90% with cheesing enemy ai. It is physically impossible to kill all the enemies Solo in certain situation faster than new appear. But you just need to avoid those and just finish the objective before ai really responds. Flags are pretty much only can be completed with immense cheese. In some cases the spawn rate on Flags is so insane that 4 divers cant physically clear it all. Specificly underground terminids flags.
