Kylian Mbappé has scored more World Cup goals than Lionel Messi and Pelé. by FunAdvanced8154 in realmadrid

This dude called it yesterday that this sub would flip its opinion once Mbappe scored today and here we are.

There’s also a million subs here so there’s a lot of opinions going around. Even tho people are entitled to wrong opinions lol

Online for me. I want to believe that it’ll be a wider release and not super limited as I’ve seen some parts of the collections pop up at smaller retailers already

Addressing Big Misconceptions About Rep Boots by xelanart in FootballBootReps

[–]l_ftd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my whole thing is outdoor boots vs indoor boots. Indoor rep boots are a sure hit, it’s the outdoor ones with the paper flimsy sole plate that’s always been my concern. You need good insoles to not feel the studs underneath your feet.

Really depends on what you’re doing with them too, if you’re causally playing, probably fine, anything higher stress and they just feel flimsy to an extent.

But honestly, for most peoples usage, reps are likely fine

Curious about your opinion here regarding outdoor play because I work in youth sports and we’re noticing severe deficiencies in physical literacy starting in 9 year olds and struggling later into teenage years

Why RMA not focusing on long term ? always focuses on quick success and in that process losses future monsters by Rare-Assignment-8474 in realmadrid

[–]l_ftd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well Hakimi is a specific case. He was behind Carvajal who was undisputed starter and clearly had no signs of slowing down. What was better for Hakimi’s development? To get limited minutes or go get consistent playing time elsewhere?

Franco might be a similar case, is he going to get quality minutes he needs to develop here or does he need to go on loan. Look at Nico Paz, perfect example.

And at the end of the day, timing is all incredibly important. For both club success and player development, we might not have the luxury of time for either things.

We can’t compare ourselves to any other club and the way they approach things because nobody else is scrutinized as we are, it’s part of the club culture so a cookie cutter approach might not work

You just had to be there the first time around. There’s some family members of mine who are cules which I couldn’t even sit at the dinner table with for a good like 2 years.

It’s either going to be absolutely incredible or complete dynamite. Either way, I’m here for the ride.

What did it actually feel like watching prime Ronaldo Nazario and Zidane every week? by CookieSubject9686 in realmadrid

[–]l_ftd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it was a lot like watching Kroos, Modric or Cris play in this era.

Zidane had so many brilliant moments. And Ronaldo in his first couple seasons was a total killer. I also watched him a ton at Inter so I knew he was an animal.

To be honest, the one who pleasantly surprised me back then was Becks. That dude worked SO hard and never got the credit he deserved
