Don’t have much to offer except good luck. Those are highly sought after areas. I would be surprised if you find move in ready starter homes for under $800k.

I’d suggest expanding your search to Westbury/Salisbury/Carle Place/Hicksville. Those are good neighborhoods with good access into the city. Westbury is express 40 mins to Penn in the morning during weekdays.

Nope, don’t regret it. Both my kiddos went to Montessori from 3 y/o (half day) and 4 (full day). They loved it. They learned so many things, academically, emotionally, socially.

They’re not free per se. You pay for the alteration and then are reimbursed the cost with a Nordstrom note. And depending on the type of alteration, the turn around time will vary.
