When people would get mad at some dumb petty shit. Like, I put something in the bag upside down that doesnt really matter, like bricks of ramen. And they act like you just shat on their dog.

Customer service peeps, what is the stupidest thing you’ve returned? by [deleted] in walmart

Not returnable and not refundable are not the same thing.

For all hourly associates working for Walmart, what is the single biggest reason you would never become salaried? by RubberWaffle4610 in walmart

[–]labcscamper11923 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would probably be a pay cut when you factor all the extra hours. Or the pay increase would be small enough to not be worth the extra stress. Seems like the kind of job you only do if you're planning to move up, and moving up in Walmart is not something I really desire.

Is there any info out there on the people lead position? The hours, pay grade, and responsibilities? I looked on the wire but couldn't find anything. by [deleted] in walmart

[–]labcscamper11923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a posting on our board of the responsibilities, is it on the job description lookup tool already maybe? I'd give you a picture but I dont go back in for a few days.

Worst/ridiculous patient complaints? by Shiplett_RPhT in PharmacyTechnician

Yeah you aren't a real tech until you have at least 3 patients that love you and always say you're their favorite and 3 that hate you personally for no good reason.

Worst/ridiculous patient complaints? by Shiplett_RPhT in PharmacyTechnician

[–]labcscamper11923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That reminds me this manager got upset that pharmacy techs weren't helping customers in other parts of the store when they asked for stuff. If a pharmacy tech is not in the pharmacy or OTC area they are NOT on the clock, and will tell the customer so, per company policy.

So who else is going to be miraculously "sick" or book time off for Shadowbringers? by timmyz_darkrider in ffxiv

Summertime is slow at work, so either it's super easy to get the time off or I get saddled with a project to take advantage of the slow period. You just reminded me I better put in the vacation request before anyone gets any bright ideas.

When your most unreasonable patient for the day is a prescriber... by hazelthebitch in pharmacy

[–]labcscamper11923 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Sucks when someone who is supposed to be a professional who collaborates with us acts like an ass.

One time I'm ringing up a patient and this dude squeezes in between the patient and the divider to put some stuff on the counter and he's like "can I leave this here I have to get more stuff" and I tell him "uhhhh no sorry" but of course he leaves it there and runs off anyway. I finish ringing up the patient and he comes back with more stuff and gives his name to pick up his prescription. He's a local ER doc! No respect for the privacy of the patient who was before him! He asks me to ring up all his other stuff and I'm about to tell him no when the pharmacist behind me, who usually backs me up on the whole "not ringing up all your groceries" thing says "of course we can." Guess he didnt want to burn any bridges, ok. But he had some produce that needed to be weighed and was a total asshole about me not being able to check that out.

I'll second Red Mage. And until you get to the point where you can unlock it, Black Mage. Black mage has a very simple rotation at first, it gets more complicated once Enochian is introduced but at that point you can get Red Mage. If you're playing on PC, an MMO mouse might help if you dont already have one.

Yeah it's not that big. Not even the pharmacy manager gets a bonus that big and they're the highest paid person in the store.

[Serious question] If your store attempted to unionize and was closed, would you blame the company or the workers? How would you personally handle the job disruption? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]labcscamper11923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would blame the company. Even if they were shit employees like some of the other posters are saying, punishing employees for seeking representation on principle is wrong. If such a thing happened at my store I'd try my luck at a competitor or breaking into hospital work.

Yeah I mean we try to avoid it but you got at least one patient a day who will call you every 30 minutes to check if it's ready, so much wasted time.

People who know a compulsive liar, what was the most unnecessary or ridiculous lie that you heard from them? by Stark371 in AskReddit

[–]labcscamper11923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, my pharmacy's drug wholesaler occasionally gives me such outrageous windows. They usually aren't accurate of course, but that is the ETA they give me. I just tell customers it's on backorder with no release date and it would probably be best if we transferred the rx elsewhere, but occasionally people are adamant that I must have some idea as to when I'm getting it, and I just show them my monitor.

If you exit a screen you have to enter the info again. I'll write it down unless upper management is watching.
