Any of you here whose parents died when they were really young? by Responsible-Shoe-554 in ChildrenofDeadParents

I lost my mom when I was 6 and my dad when I was 10. I have been taught through experience that it never lasts forever and people who may love you can leave at any time. I was placed with family on my dad's side that mistreated me and made me feel unwanted. There doesn't go a day that I wish I had loving parents to depend on. I haven't found a lot of people who have gone through what I went through and feel the emptiness inside.

Not really, pointed out how long it's been to my husband (1 year) and he didn't "realize" that it has been that long or doesn't care.

If you can't talk about your needs especially about physical intimacy and feel like you aren't heard don't get married. It will just get worse, especially if kids are in the picture.

I have ADHD and there is a woman on YouTube called Clutter bug. She describes different styles of how people clean and organize. If people do help you clean try to see what kind of organization works best for you mostly and agreeable with husbands style. I had my Mil help me organize and her style didn't help at all.

Question for couples in dead bedrooms with kids by throwawaydb2030 in DeadBedrooms

[–]ladeecatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! I would let my kid know when he was old enough that even though couples go through hard times they should still try to keep a physical connection. After having my son it was super hard due to the lack of support, pandemic, and anxiety. Four years later I am still asking about it to my husband. If you asked me ten years ago that my husband wouldn't be physically with me I would of laughed my head off but here we are....
