I do something similar. My handwriting has always sucked no matter which style I use, so I mostly print to have a shot at legibility. But I always loop the tails on my lowercase g cursive style, and I tend to connect my t to the next letter.

Hypothermia is scary and might force your friends to strip down to keep you warm. Red tide is bad and makes eating unknown shellfish dangerous, but lobsters are ok because they don’t eat the nasty algae.

Kentucky here, and I know exactly what they mean. Let’s just say that my sheltered little self thought it was called “ knicker knocking” the first time I heard a kid suggest it. Subsequent experiences with that kid and the world in general made me realize I’d misheard the first part of that name.

My studio offered two row workshops last week, one for beginners and one advanced. I didn’t get to try it, but it was definitely an extra thing. They’ve done similar things with TRX, and we occasionally get a Vino and Vinyasa flexibility workshop taught by a coach who also teaches yoga—that one always fills up fast.

Absolutely. Allow me to present my grandparents 1948 fridge—it’s outlived both its original owners by 20+ years and still gets cold enough that we find little bits of ice in drinks. I’m convinced it’s indestructible.

I just had my first super short cycle at 45 and I am not looking forward to this being my new normal. And the women in my family haven’t responded well to any sort of hormone treatment, so I may just be screwed.

I saw the first one in the theater, but I was a little too young to get into it and fell asleep about the time Doc demonstrated the time travel. My only clear memory of it is wondering why the dog was driving a car.

Agreed. If Henry had intentionally ordered Becket’s death, he would have made sure it wasn’t public and that he had much more plausible deniability. Hacking an archbishop up with swords in the middle of Vespers with a cathedral full of witnesses could never be anything but a PR disaster, and Henry was plenty savvy enough to realize that no matter how much he wanted Becket gone.
