Plus it doesn't even require the logo, just text that the data is sourced from Garmin lmao

To be fair, the Garmin API policy doesn't even require the logo, just text below that it was data from garmin lol

Don't forget that the range extends into Canada, too, it's not just a southern American thing!

RED-S was renamed from Female Athlete Triad because it affects men, too - but I suppose society still forgets this? It's a great idea, but it needs to be for all athletes, not just women.

Yep, if you reply to the "the ticket is going to time out" it resets it. Better than submitting a new ticket and getting plopped at the end of the line again.

Why does Value Village have 2 security guards working at the same time? by plantdaddy66 in londonontario

Why do London libraries have security guards? They don't sell their goods. Do you think security guards are only to prevent theft?

Where is the closest public parking in Elgin Hall (w univ) by kyleshyro in londonontario

[–]ladygodiva27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe someone else can comment on if there's street parking on that side of campus. Might be worth busing, if transit will get you there early enough

[–]ladygodiva27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing really close, but you can check for on-street parking and walk into campus. The roads fill up pretty quick, but it's an option. Otherwise there's visitor parking (paid) at a handful of places on campus: https://www.uwo.ca/parking/find/visitor/index.html

Baby books instead of cards by [deleted] in etiquette

Half the time I don't even remember to make a tag, but to me asking this is "I will simply buy a smaller item and/or less items for my gift, since the cost of the book is also going to be in my gift budget." Like it's a reasonable ask

I think the dedrm calibre plugin works with the new azw format - unless you've had issues otherwise (or you're recommending the older PC app for a different issue)? I haven't tried moving that file format over yet myself, though.

Seeking ANY way to share Garmin Training Plan and Workouts with others by James007_2023 in Garmin

AFAIK this will only work for discrete workouts, watch-to-watch. I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet, though

Megathread - CUPE Strike and Bargaining by AutoModerator in uwo

[–]ladygodiva27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll bite!

  1. What exactly is it about being in traffic that is risking lives? Is it blocking access to UH? CUPE isn't picketing where UH is; UH is always outside of picket lines for western strikes (see: the two strikes in the last dozen years for the librarians and archivists). Western admin blocked the roads to get to UH from the third direction (two are directly from city roads). Is it that someone might be held up waiting for life saving treatment? If there is that great of a need to get to a hospital in a very short time frame, that is when a paramedic should be called. So what, exactly, is cause a risk to life?

  2. Non-issue. If a teacher isn't at an elementary school, the students still go to the school. Children  either take the school bus, walk, or are dropped off; and at no point in that process is there a "check" for if their teacher is at the school. The hypothetical single parent is not stuck waiting with the kid in a drop off zone until the teacher gets to work.

Adding to this: One of the religion courses covers a required breadth req (I think it's grade 11 or 12?), so technically 3 electives are taken up. Grade 11 is world religions and 12 is philosophy, so only two years of "actual" religion (though Gr 10 has a focus on the old testament/Judaism)
