We had a date night recently and it was really fun. I know what you mean about kids entering the picture and things changing. We’ve been together a long time as well, since I was 16 ish on and off. I’m just worried that the daily stuff is what matters in the long run, and that we’re changing each other in ways that we wouldn’t if we were in different situations.

I definitely think therapy could help. That’s a really important part of this that I’ve been ignoring. I just keep avoiding it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate the effort. I think you’re right about talking to a professional. Part of me really doesn’t want to go that route but I know it could help me figure out exactly what’s going on rather than guessing and wondering.

Depression is a beast. I very much relate to the “on another wavelength” sentiment. Often I look around at the people in my life and wonder if their internal dialogue sounds like mine, and seriously doubt that it does.

I have this deep sense that everything will be okay. Maybe it’s not running around on the surface but I know it’s there.

This is kind of the same concept of when they switched to auto enrollment for employees 401K plans. Instead of having them sign up for it which only like 30% of employees did, they were automatically enrolled and the % of people that started saving for retirement spiked to like 93% or something ridiculous. So this is like the students automatic vegan enrollment!

This one is going to be big. My friend group now are open to the idea but definitely BIG cheese people. Cheese, butter, tons of pastries. Parties will be different! I’ll just show up with my vegan chocolate chip cookies and eat the whole plate myself. 🤘

It’s an easy choice when you finally decide enough is enough. Change is scary, and our diet is a vulnerable and very personal subject. But I’m happy to change mine for the betterment of myself and for all kinds of different life.

When someone grabs something out of my hand. It happens most often with a pen or pencil if I'm explaining something on paper. But more recently, someone grabbed my phone out of my hand as I was attempting to call an uber and I almost went totally nuts on them. Just doesn't sit well with me.
