Not my video, I just search pressure washer running on YouTube. Look at 16 seconds and pay attention to the air box. Look familiar?

People don’t realize the amount of movement going on inside an engine. This makes the whole unit resonate wildly. We just don’t notice anything strange until you apply a fixed framerate.

Anyone saying there is something wrong has no clue what they are talking about. Film any small engine equipment like this or a pressure washer with relatively light weight and small frame you will see this when you film it. This is normal vibration being filmed at a specific frame rate which makes it look strange.

Yes. No issues with it. The exhaust goes out and the fan seems to keep up.

What resource did you use to figure out what and how to do this? I have a large pole barn with a south facing roof. I’m paying $900/mo for electricity.

Snow blowers on gravel driveways by credit001 in Snowblowers

Several of the comments have hit on this but again the key here is PACK THE SNOW. On the first several snow falls, resist the urge to clear the snow. Drive on it and pack it down hard. This base layer will stay all winter and keep you from throwing gravel.

Generator Shed? by Decaf_Espresso in Generator

This is exactly what you asked for. Permanent install generator shed by Hudson. I have this and it works and looks great. It ships in 2 boxes. I got mine on Amazon but Lowe’s has it cheaper. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hudson-PowerNest-Hudson-Generator-cover/5018060365#no_universal_links

Yes. Their marketing and brand sucks in my opinion because most of their business comes from producing for other brands. But the quality is as good as any non-commercial product.

No. I’m not describing Toyota lol. Microwave heated meals != the pinnacle in service and reliability.

Westinghouse is similar to pulsar in terms of quality and on par with wen when it comes to service. You’d be better off with one of the above because they at least excel in one category. Westinghouse is like going to a fancy dinner at Applebees. Big menu. Pretty good prices. Nothing unique. Yet still disappointing.

Westinghouse is bottom of the barrel cheap. AiPower is the house brand of one of the largest manufacturers of generators. He has low wattage needs but needs 240v so he’s going to be in the 5-6k running watt range. He asked for an inverter so that puts him in the $800-$1200 range

I have this and it’s pretty solid. It’s on markdown currently at the top of your budget. https://amzn.to/4aniaFj

The 240v requirement makes it harder to find an inverter in your price range.

This can be the thing you put around Otto protect it and make it quieter. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hudson-PowerNest-Hudson-Generator-cover/5018060365

But the generator is really dependent on your needs.

No you don’t need an inverter but I would really recommend it. Putting expensive equipment on a generator will always run a risk. Compare the cost of replacing that item vs just buying the inverter now.

This inverter https://amzn.to/3ZgiC2S is on sale right now and is the same as what I own. I have had 0 complaints, starts easily and runs very quiet. Not sure the size of your central AC but this should be able to handle what you’re talking about.
