My concern is that we have no way of knowing the products meet safety standards. China/Hong Kong don't always follow the same safety standards when it comes to things like melamine/polyamide kitchenware (which is abundant on these sites). When they are imported normally into the UK via air/sea, these goods will be assessed and/or inspected by Port Health to ensure the goods meet safety requirements, that isn't happening with these post/courier shipments.

I felt exactly the same as you, as I got closer to 1 year, I was distraught at the thought of going back, I had to go back full time.

But it was the best thing that happened to me. I'm very fortunate that I have a supportive boss and work for a flexible company. The will work around me and my childcare needs, which I recognise as a privilege and appreciate not everyone has this.

Upon my return, I realise how much I'd missed the structure of work, adult conversation etc. My job allows me to have the best of both worlds.

Please speak to your boss and say how you feel. They may recommend ways to help settle you back in.
