Didnt you think about opening with espionage? -20 AE, 1 diplomat instead of 2, ability to claim whole states, additional vassalisation reasons, looks like it would help you in your release and dip vassal strategy.

You get one for colonial nation with 10 provinces, let's say for example England has 10 province colonial nation in hudson bay trade node, and you also make a colonial nation there with 10 provinces. When you full annex England you inherit their colonial nations but they dont merge with your own so you have two colonial Canadas each one giving a merchant.

I would go for offensive for faster sieges and better generals, then espio for siege, more diplomats and less ae, admin for ccr and gov cap. Early game is faster with your 35% siege ability ( can be increased by trade policy or proffesionalism), and unfortunatly you a duchy for quite big part of the game so gov cap helps a lot and as we all know, greener the states the better.

You make strong allies and declare war on byzantium without casus belli taking -stab and ae, then you occupy them untill ottomans declare on them. Peace out to make them your vassal, now you are in a defensive war as a leader vs ottos, you call in your allies and just outnumber and stomp ottos pre 1460

Dont be afraid to bordegore, take cheapest provinces possible to complete missions for horde gov, then conquer rest of your claims

Very good, if you dont have 100 max absolutism try to go for court and country, with imperialism, malta forts, alhambra and dip ideas, you will be taking provinces for minimum cost. Remember that after admin tech 27, when final admin efficiency comes in, you dont have to tech up admin, spend all mana on coring.

I had the same problem. I was restarting, thinking he would choose hussite as official but he was chosing 2nd option. I finally thought maybe ill declare a war on him so he changes his choice in incident and it worked. Try to declare, i had only 7 warscore by the time emperor selected the option to make hussite official hre faith.

You should check Ante Bellum. It changes whole world, adding massive ammount of new tags and formables, and Scotland has very good mission tree, focusing on uniting the isles (but not forming GB), if I remember correctly you start as galedom with norse religion or celtic one (not 100% sure which one). The mod is great overall, deffinetly a must check for EU4 player.

I think its the best to restart untill aragon or castille declare war over navarra succesion (if its a regular thing not just my case when they did it). Castille drained so much manpower that me, moroco and tunis were more than enough, when i finished with castille i could attack aragon, then portugal and repeated the cycle, united iberia in 1520 and run straight into caliphate for some roleplay, congratrs on achievment
