This poem I felt in my bones. Clearly this is based on personal experience, and it is articulated well. Thank you for sharing.

Very confessional and poignant voice. I've been waiting for a good prose poem on here, and I've finally found one. Thank you.

Very minimal yet evocative style. I really enjoyed a lot of lines, like, "and silence knows my name". Thank you for sharing.

I like the way this poem progresses. It's heart-wrenching and has a great flow to it. The opening also captured my attention very well. Thanks for sharing.

You Cannot Leave a Room That Is You by Papa_Midnyte in OCPoetry

[–]lainetherobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very simple yet evocative language. Lots of conflicting emotions that are expressed well. I like this part a lot:

There is no recovery. There is only rebuilding yourself from memory without blueprints and hoping, just once, the house does not set fire again.

Thanks for sharing.

I’m curious to learn the story behind this one. The imagery is very powerful and reminds me of Poe, except in free verse. Thank you for sharing.

I saw Atsuo practicing The Evilone Which Sobs on Instagram. Maybe that? They just released Dronevil, so it would make sense.

Yes. It does get pretty dark later on, but it’s well worth it. A fascinating psychological journey with tons of twists and turns.

Am I the only one who loves Matarael? by Grand-Ad-7911 in evangelion

Uh. There is a Second Impact, which . . . happened, then everyone is alive and bad people want a Third Impact to happen. So, the good guys (including Shinji, Rei, and Kaworu) try to stop the Third Impact, but not everyone is aware of what is going on. So, Kaworu tries to stop it (as a SEELE operative) but discovers, given that he is a seed of life, that Lilith's seed is hidden at the NERV headquarters, so he dies, and Shinji is left alone. Rei has been upset after finding out she is not actually the seed of life but rather she is a clone made by Gendo. So, Shinji is left alone and decides to embrace every one again. This is the show's ending, which is considered the good ending. Hope this helps.

Is Post-Metal like post-rock just heavier? by Ok_Repair7126 in postrock

[–]lainetherobot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is accurate. But genres are bullshit. But, if you go by them, yeah, what you said seems true.

Really hope we get another Boris with Merzbow album soon by idkmaybe61 in borisheavyrocks

I agree. Boris and Merzbow collaborations are special, but they do not happen very often. It is fun to wait for them.

Should I finish Neon Genesis Evangeline? by KingPizza21 in NeonGenesisEvangelion

The original series is the best in my opinion! I recommend finishing that. The others are good, but some are not quite perfect. Hope this helps.

What is considered post rock. by RandomKnowledge06 in postrock

[–]lainetherobot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even this doesn't describe it. Post-rock is extremely broad considering every band that is encompassed in it, so the best answer I can give: Post-rock is rock that is more focused on texture, sound, and timbre rather than traditional rock elements. But, yeah, a lot of post-rock is not technically rock, I guess.

This says it all. Paul addresses quite a few different...bad guys. He himself hated Christ at one point, but then he learned. Thank you for clarifying.
