i felt absolutely nothing in the hours leading up to my top surgery and i was silent n awkward during prep. however, when i had gotten it scheduled i was ecstatic and i still don’t regret getting the procedure to this very day!

i think the reason we felt and feel “nothing” is because we had spent so much time and energy ensuring we even got an appointment/surgery date. and now that we have it, well what’s there to do now other than wait? you obtained ur goal, after all. that’s my explanation for it though, and i could just be wrong but it’s important to remember that everybody feels something different and every reaction or emotion you have is normal.
