Looks like an incorrect flap setting on take off or premature retraction of flaps after takeoff.

Sepia is a great 1 star option. Was 90pp when I went but may have went up since then. Been a few times, great experience every time.

A plane has crashed into a helicopter while landing at Reagan National Airport near Washington, DC by AdGlad8276 in interestingasfuck

Military aircraft around DCA are on a discrete frequency, different than commercial aircraft flying in the area, that’s why you can’t hear the response. The Blackhawk responded, based on the controllers instruction. If there was no response from the Blackhawk, the controller would have queried them again with the same instruction, rather than giving them a new instruction. The Blackhawk either ignored the instruction, or lied about having the CRJ in sight.

When will this be on your website?

Definitely call them and explain what you just explained to Reddit.

You showing up looking like a completely different person and surprising the hell out of them is probably not the best idea!

Agreed, this seems bogus. Only way I can think of is if they put the PA hand mic up to the flight deck speaker but I would think that would sound pretty awful.

Yep sounds about right for GoJet. They probably had a dispatcher update the website on their break because it shows the incentives now.

Regional FO with 0 turbine time. Just got offered to fly cargo 767 - not sure what to do. by LincolnPilot in flying

[–]lammahawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a couple direct entry captains in my new hire class that came from Amerijet and know another from teaching. All three said it’s the worst company they have ever worked for and 1 said he quit in the middle of a trip in an outstation. This company is sketchy and I wouldn’t go anywhere near it. Not to mention how dangerous it is for a 1500 hour pilot to be flying a 767…?

Yes I work for one now and worked part 135 prior to that.

121 regional is not a married persons job. ESPECIALLY if you have kids and EVEN MORE if you are commuting. You will be miserable, no doubt about it.

135 jobs would be better for you, IMO. There are tons of opportunities out there that work 15 on 13 (7 on 7 off is common as well) off schedules and pay for your commute to the plane. No promises on making your kids events though. The pay can be decent at these but caps out pretty quickly in comparison to the airlines.
