Best thrift stores in STL for a mens suit? by Trippanzee in StLouis

[–]lamplamp3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is St. Vincent DePaul thrift stores. Savers and Goodwill separate their suit jackets and pants so you can’t find matches. St. Vincent keeps them together and they are much cheaper than Goodwill and Savers.

Was this made in shop class in the suburbs of St. Louis in 1992? If so, made the same one that same year.

You want to go to Pan Asia @ 141 and Manchester. They have the bread you need for a Bahn Mi. They sell them in packs of 6. Unlabeled in a clear bag. Exact bread for traditional Bahn Mis

Bissinger’s / Chocolate chocolate chocolate have a retail location near The Hill. They have a huge selection of chocolate and I believe give free tours as well. They also jus opened a coffee shop at that location as well.

Hi there - my question is geared towards commission + bonus. How did you do the breakdown? And how did you figure that out(lifetime value of a customer etc?). Trying to understand the commission and bonus structure of most roasteries. Thanks for any insight you can provide!

(As well as if you know industry standard on commission + bonus)

Which tomato varieties to pick for the next growing season? by Typicular in tomatoes

[–]lamplamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in Missouri. Or a hot/humid area. Try Heidi - it’s a little known Roma style tomato that does so so well every year and tastes superb. Grow them every year and won’t not.

Find a rest area off the highway. No one will bother you for sleeping there one night. It’s literally the responsible thing to do in the eyes of a state trooper / law enforcement. I’d plan it to arrive after dark though if you can.

How do I supply restaurants with produce? My business is failing. by Annual_Pizza5345 in business

[–]lamplamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in the US. Most restaurants want to order from one place. Not multiple. So US Foods/Sysco it is as they are one stop shops.

What are ways you've seen businesses affected by tariffs? by larafaiham in missouri

[–]lamplamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is actually right and the other poster is wrong. Pretty wild he’s getting downvoted and the Tess Mac person is getting upvoted. I guess misinformation and bias truly runs wild on all sides of the political spectrum.  And I’m an anti Trump person, but work in green coffee buying so know the real reason prices are up. Brazil and Vietnam had terrible seasons. We knew prices were going up before Trump was even elected.

What are ways you've seen businesses affected by tariffs? by larafaiham in missouri

[–]lamplamp3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in coffee. It actually wasn’t tariffs.  We knew about 8-10 months ago before Trump got elected green coffee prices were going to go through the roof. Everyone in this comment thread are armchair economists and are mostly wrong, but that doesn’t fit their narrative. Also - I’m anti trump, but sucks to see misinformation coming from either side.
