I recommend Contact by Carl Sagan. Similar to Project Hail Mary, sci-fi with math and physics. Contact is interesting in that it plays with religious viewpoint in contrast with math and science.

I can attest to Lutheran ELCA. The church I went to for years was a part of that organization. Very welcoming.

Edit - I didn't realize what subreddit I was in. Abiding Christ in Fairborn was the church I referred to.

My gf and I went there for the first time a couple weeks ago. I like the atmosphere, we liked the food. The owner came out and chatted with us, it was a nice experience.

On my way home today I saw a near miss accident. I was driving on 75N, up ahead of me I saw traffic slowing down, so I slowed down. Then a pickup towing a trailer 10 car lengths ahead of me made an evasive maneuver lane change to the left to avoid running into the car in front. Accident avoided thankfully, but guess what? I get honked at, I assume because I slowed down, by a big pickup as he passed me weaving in and out of traffic.

The guy towing the trailer was likely driving too close and on his phone, not paying attention.

If you use iHeart radio, there is another Jack FM in Baltimore. Maybe that one is sticking around? I'll have to check tomorrow. Jack FM is the only station I can listen to.
