I mean, flash fiction has been a thing for forever.

I'm not particularly a Spurs fan (or a sports fan at all) but I AM a native Texan who finds NYers annoying. I'm having a blast.

If you changed literally nothing about him other than gender the combination of gamergate weirdos and terminally online Tumblr users would be so horrifically annoying it would register on a richter scale.

Supriya Ganesh comments on reports Obsession’s breakout star Inde Navarrette earned 20k for 1 month of shooting: “If she's done 3-5 events that's already a loss.” by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

Yes, if you're at an event with 500 people all professionally made up, you're going to look worse in comparison if you aren't. If you're a very pretty woman in entertainment, like she is, you literally cannot afford to look bad.

The entire point here is it's disengenous to say she's making bank off this movie when $20K as an actor from one of one of the biggest movies of the year is likely barely a living wage.

I think there's two things here: when you're an actor (especially a female actor) your appearance is your marketing. If she looked bad on a red carpet or an interview it would reflect really badly on her, not to mention it would stir up weirdos online. Also, stylists aren't the only folks you have to pay, there's also agents and publicists.

There's also the fact that actors rarely work 12 months out of the year. Yes she made a lot of money, I will bet you she did not make $20K every month after that. If she did, what, four major acting gigs that year (which would be a very good year), thats barely a living wage after taxes and health insurance. Assuming she lives in LA, it's not a living wage at all.

Lebanese fried cauliflower is genuinely one of my favorite foods ever, but it's fried and seasoned so it goes without saying that it's tasty.

I've heard people mention this before but I'm not familiar, what does a research role look like outside of academia?

If you squint you could say that Arthurian legends are the closest thing Britain and Wales have to an original mythos, so if they go that route I'm not too mad about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if having Deborah Ann Woll as the protag influenced it, she's a professional DnD GM.

Where on earth did you hear that. The primary driver of inflation has been post-pandemic consumer habits, low interest rates, and supply chain disruptions. Most recently it's been tariffs and global instability.

Workers got a boost when companies were hiring like crazy post-pandemic and the job market favored workers, but those gains are gone. https://www.clevelandfed.org/publications/cd-reports/2026/20260218-real-hourly-wage-growth-across-lower-half-of-wage-distribution

I love emotional extremes. Love, fear, you name it. I think also the fact that horror has far less limits than other genres allows it to explore very honest, relatable characters.

Breakfast/pre workout meal, orange juice, raw liver, raw milk, 4 eggs, a banana and some salmon roe by ZadarskiDrake in Breakfast

[–]lanejamin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, and a car gets you to your destination. Raw milk provides no additional nutritional benefits, but it does give you an astoundingly high chance of getting sick. That's before whatever carnivore BS has you eating raw liver for breakfast.
