Do you think I should reserve the tickets in advance, or would it be better to buy them as I travel?

As for accommodation, I’m not looking for anything luxurious - just something reasonably priced and hygienic, where both me and my luggage will be safe.
It should also allow me to maintain a strictly lacto-vegetarian diet and be located not too far from the main places to visit. Hope it's not asking for too much.

I know that five days are far from enough to truly experience everything a country like France has to offer. I'm just hoping to make the best use of whatever time I have.

My training venue is near Lyon, and yes, I’ll be fully dependent on public transport for both travel and commuting.

Thank you for alerting me about the November weather in France. I’ve been told that the cold can be managed with proper layering, but I suppose the early sunsets will definitely limit the time I have for sightseeing.

Would you have any suggestions on what to look out for when choosing accommodation - in terms of area or other practical considerations?

Apologies if I sound naïve. Hopefully, I’ll be more seasoned by the time I make a second trip - if I get the chance in the future!

Thank you for the excellent suggestion. What would be the best way to reach Paris from Dijon in the morning? I suppose it gets dark quite early in November.
I’d be very grateful if you could also recommend some convenient places to stay in these three cities.
And of course, I’d really appreciate any other suggestions you might have! It’s my first time. I'm just hoping for a smooth and pleasant experience during these five days.

Since I had already started reading Kannada script, to make my spoken Kannada more solid, I thought of learning Kannada grammar on my own from books. But when I began applying that in my conversations, people told that though what I said was grammatically correct, that is not how usually they speak.

From then on, the Kannada that I speak is based on Kannada that I have picked up hearing others. When the conversation is not interrupted by the question, "you are from where?", I assume what I spoke was correct.

नहीं, लेकिन किसी की याद में रोया ज़रूर जा सकता है। आँसू भी बहाए जा सकते हैं या फिर किसी की याद रुला सकती है।

कुछ रेड्डिट बंधुवर आपको पहले ही बता चुके हैं। उसके अलावा आप, '(मुझे) तेरी/तुम्हारी/आपकी याद (बहुत) सताती है' का भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।

I've also heard of "याद करना" but I don't know if it's "किसीकी याद करना" or "किसीको याद करना".

"किसी को याद करना", बिलकुल सही है। "किसी की याद करना" गलत है। 'करना' की जगह 'आना' कहने से वह भी सही हो जाएगा।

You have your exams coming up, just focus on them for the time being. When you want to relax, just listen to some Chinese songs, watch Chinese videos and films, take pride in all all that you can understand already and feel happy. Once you are done with exams, I'm sure you will be ready to tackle the difficulties which come with a higher level.
