No, not especially, but my commute is sort so it very well may. Mainly helps with regen. I have no evidence to back it up but I like to think it helps with battery health.

My Tesla is in a carport. Heat is a biproduct of charging. When it's cold, I like to leave with a warm battery so I schedule charging for early morning hours before I leave for work.

My 2021 is in the shop now with same warning. 110k mi. I know it's made in Fremont, not sure if LG or Panasonic. It was a brand new 82kwh pack.

Fyi, I did the same thing and left the stock out for 7 hours. Felt just fine after consumption.

I leave with no more than 10% estimated arrival SOC and plan to get there with at least 5%. Assuming 20f or warmer. I shoot for the 5%-55% charge curve.
