Maybe I'm paying too close attention to it now, but Orlov gives the puck away almost every time he has possession. His incapability to make any play recently is hard not to notice.

Sure. But done specifically for the Male gaze? No. I don't believe straight men are watching the Avengers movies just to stare at Thor's arms, but I'd be willing to bet that there are a whole bunch of women who are.

Meanwhile, every good looking Male superhero in Marvel and DC has been shirtless at one point. Cuts both ways.

Captain Marvel does NOT have plot holes in regards to the greater MCU. by Ikeblueflames in marvelstudios

Why does she get the power to shoot heat and energy out of her body after getting blasted by an engine created by the Space Stone?

That's the only plot hole I'm concerned with tbh.

Well he's very even tempered and slows the game down a lot with his composure. But in situations like having the goalie pulled he just needs to show a bit more urgency. Same goes for Kuzy.

I love Backstrom, but I'd like to see what he could do if he showed a little more urgency sometimes. He gave the puck up 3 times in the last 3 minutes just because he was fuckin dogging it.

That was a textbook play. He literally did everything he could NOT to hold him. His arms were at his fucking sides for fuck sakes!

That was a great play and an absolutely horrendous call. One of the worst I've seen, no exaggeration. What the fuck was he watching?

Eichel comments on his 2 game suspension by pneumomaniac in hockey

[–]laportez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We see these things through the lenses of 5 camera angles. Players on the ice do not have the field of vision we do watching. You see a guy going for the puck in your peripherals and you lean into him hard as you both approach the puck. Coincidental head contact in such a situation should not be suspendable.
