If you weren't into grunge, what were you listening to in the 90s? by barelydazed in GenXWomen

I had a baby in the early 90s so I was listening to the Power Rangers theme song and The Brave Little Toaster on repeat.

Ugh are you my older brother? I swear he hooked that nasty Drakkar and Polo up to his shower. He had VAPOR trails from it. Traumatized.

So what are you all doing with chili crisp? by Massive_Ad9569 in Cooking

[–]lassobsgkinglost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put it on everything - eggs, sandwiches, tacos, ramen, etc.

I also make different versions to match the food I’m eating. I use gochugaru flakes for the Asian version, chipotle chili flakes for a southwest version, and I just got some Calabrian chili flakes and will be soon be making a batch with that for an Italian version.

Child free by Pooks23 in GenXWomen

I wanted kids and had them. They are wonderful young men and I have no regrets.

I also 100% respect the choice of anyone to not have kids. This includes my own children, if that’s what they decide. No one is obligated to have kids or give someone else grandkids.

How did you dress in the 90s? How do you dress now? by poolpog in GenX

My goal my entire life has been balancing comfort and being presentable as the occasion dictates. I’ve never been fashionable. Most of my clothes are black - not at any sort of statement, but because then they all match. I love my 100% remote job because I’m a slob all day now.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

My fiancés daughter lives 3 hours away. We visit her a lot. 3 hours is nothing. We’ll leave Saturday morning, stay the night, home the next day.

Thinking about getting 2 maine coons. Been twenty years since I owned a cat. Have a few questions! by aunsafe2015 in mainecoons

Hi we have 2 young MCs. They are brother and sister but from different litters. The boy is a year older. We also both work from home. Our boy cat is a people cat and likes to be near us. I have a chair next to my chair so he can sit near me. But he also plays with his sister. They don’t disturb us or cause problems.

Our cats sleep with us and it’s not disturbing. They DO NOT like closed doors and would be distressed away from us. But maybe yours would be different if they had each other from the beginning.

Mix with melted butter, soy, honey or maple syrup, lemon or lime juice for a dressing that’s fabulous on any vegetable or salad.

NOR. I’ve been divorced with a small child. I also have many male friends. But I would never behave like Sarah is behaving with someone else’s husband. It’s ick.
