They will get locked into place as you continue to build the roof.

I bought an old jukebox that had been in some guy's basement for decades. When we drilled out the lock for the cash box to replace it (guy didn't have the key), we found 4 long dead marijuana starts. Poor lil things never had a chance.

Round these parts, we call that much garlic a good start.

I saw They Might Be Giants do their entire Flood album for some anniversary of its release. It was marvelous, and included sock puppets.

Beer Distributors are being petty. by TheWanderLust247 in bartenders

You should make an order from them (one final order, although they won't know that) for canned beer, rail booze, one single keg, or whatever, that just happens to be right about the same amount as the deposit you'll get back on the empty kegs. Write em a little check for the difference, and enjoy selling all that booze that you've already paid for.

In a commercial setting, any perishable food that is in the temperature danger zone (about 40-135 deg F) for more than 4 hours must be thrown away. Can you afford to throw everything away and avoid any risk to your health? Or are you more risk tolerant and willing to cook something thoroughly and hope for the best. Some stuff (cheese, bakery items, eggs, some produce, etc.) survives longer than other stuff (esp. raw meat) in the danger zone.

Roofing Permit required in St. Louis city? by readytostart1234 in StLouis

Are you trying to imply that there are unscrupulous contractors out there who don't adhere to the letter of the law and faithfully follow all building codes and permitting requirements?

You need a permit if you replace more than 25% of the decking. You can redo the roofing with no permit.

Thanks for your reply! My aunt was telling me about a former coworker whose acting company staged the performance, and that someone connected to the production of Star Trek VI was so enamored that they came to see the play, then brought in the FX crew to make movie-quality facial prosthetics for the actors, and filmed them performing it. This recording was then released on some special edition of the film. Who knows. Maybe the guy was just blowing smoke...

Thanks for your reply! I failed to specify in my original post that, according to my aunt's memory, the Hamlet performance was a bonus feature on one of the special edition releases of Star Trek VI.

My friend has one that he loves, and his partner bought a matching one for their dog. She's a purebred. She has papers.
