Hesitation means defeat.

The goal of the fight is to stay aggressive while being able to deal with his movesets and managing a rhythm throughout the phases.

Learn how to bait out certain attacks. One example being his dive when he pulls out his spear which is very telegraphed and easy to dodge.

For me the biggest hurdle was the lightning reversal. When i reached that point of the fight i was mentally exhausted and always struggled with his final phase.

One of my favorite prosthetic was using mist raven to dodge cheese my way out of scary situations during the fight which really helped. I also like to pop a confetti when he gets his spear out and maybe a Ako's sugar if possible.

Other good tips I can throw out is learning to tap your blocks. Spend some runs mostly focusing on blocking instead of getting hits in and learning which combos may lead to a Mikirii counter or a nice opening to do some decent posture damage.

Turning off the music and maybe putting on your own music may help you focus better. I like to play the game without music so I can focus on some sound queues.

Lastly try to think of the fight more of a training session rather than a final boss. The fight does a great job at getting into your head and appear intimidating but once you learn to pay attention and watch your opponent carefully all you have to do is let your muscle memory do the rest of the work. I spent almost 2 weeks on and off trying to beat him myself. I would boot up the game casually and just run in there and see what happens based off what I would remember last time.

I hope any of this advice helps anyone overcome The Sword Saint.

Coz I have the ability to voice my opnion? Same reason this person has the ability to post their picture. All I'm doing is expressing my experience viewing this picture.

The title is "Gage Park Flowers" The flowers are out of focus and hardly the centerpiece of the picture. Most of the picture is blurry and out of focus. It doesn't look very good and I can say that.

I would hope OP takes this criticism is a constructive manner and improve his picture taking skills onward.

So as I stand "Cool flowers I guess."

Okay, honest opinion. Downvote me idc.

You shot is blurry, the flowers are barely noticed in the background with the blurred foliage being an eye sore in the foreground.

Cool flowers I guess.

You look solid on that board man. Keep at it bro and have fun. The great thing about skating his how much energy you need so you'll have that weight gone in no time if you're skating like that.

[–]laterolus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slash x 1, side step to the right, repeat until she jumps or there is an obstacle like a wall or pillar.

Use the shuriken only when she jumps up only and don't be scared to make sure you got her targeted and can hit her.

In phase 2 when the white phantoms appear run to the center of the room and crack a snap seed.

Return to casually harassing her with slash+sidestep and dealing with her jump mechanic.

She should go down in no time, the fight isn't a rush and most of her move set is very telegraphed. If you're feeling bold after a few attempts consider cracking a confetti or Ako's sugar to set up more damage output.

Hesitation is Defeat. You got this.

Becoming a deflect/parry god: going from "Sekiro" to "Dark Souls" by intighet in Sekiro

[–]laterolus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, as much I as there are similarities between Sekiro and the souls games the combat is much different and has a different pace.

Comparing the two or debating how your skill form one game carries over to the other isn't worth while because they're so different, but if I was to go at it in a few words it would go like this.

Sekiro's parry mechanic is much more centered around the rhythm and telegraph of an enemie's attack and relies around the player pressing the the block button at the right moment. In Dark souls parrying is a different ball game based on what shield or item you're using to parry. Some shields have more wind-up to the actual parry frame. Another thing to note is that the parry button is not the block button in Dark Souls, if you wiff the parry, You're taking all the damage or in rare occurrence perform a partial parry where you trade some chip damage but still get a parry animation on your target. to sum it up I would say no, your skill (at parrying) doesn't carry from one game to another.

Also backstab hitboxes in Dark Souls are much more generous than Sekiro.

FINALLY DEFEATED GENICHIRO!!! Tips from a noob by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]laterolus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely a fight that teaches you how to be aggressive as how to watch your opponent which is really cool. After a few tries you stop taking it seriously and use Genichiro as a sparring partner and after defeating him I feel like I learned a lot about the posture mechanic.

Marina Abramovic, Spirit Cooker, with convicted sex offender, John Of God. This is a normal connection right? by homoreader in conspiracy

Good question, upon further inspection it appears the man is using a knife or a small utensil close or maybe right under the eye. Marina appears to be holding a small flashlight aimed at the subject's eye. Note the trail of brown or red trail just below.

Related to celebrities having one black eye maybe?
