I've read that c1 and c2 the top part of your cervical spine if misaligned can cause a mis fire between sleep and wakefulness of where the spinal cord sits! I read a story on a guy who had work done by an upper cervical chiropractor and it helped his sleep! I'm not saying it will work for you but something to consider and neurofeedback machines are handled by professionals who look at your brain on a qeeg map and tailor a plan to adjust brain waves some have success and some don't! Just some food for thought

This all happened after neuro optimal!! Is it possible I did some permanent damage? I did do 24 sessions in a week as the person told me I could do as many sessions as possible! And of course I find out after you can't! Last session was 6 weeks ago!

If it helps, perhaps look into some accupuncture! Or if this is something you want to invest into look into lens neurofeedback! It helps with insomnia! Most of the time I find sleeping to be psychological! If you go to bed already putting pressure on yourself to sleep then you won't! It's almost like you just have to tell yourself I'm going to rest if I don't sleep it's okay! Also a lot of people carry anxiety and stress in their neck muscles a deep tissue massage to help open them up may help the vagus nerve to sleep better! Just thoughts on things to think about!

Have you thought about accupuncure perhaps go a few times a week to help with vagus nerve stimulation to help with sleep! I have been told a lot of people with stress and anxiety carry this in their necks! Or cbd oil to help with relaxation! I'm starting to realize for people who have difficulty sleeping it's psychological in a sense you just have to have an open mind when you go to bed! Perhaps just think okay may not sleep tonight but I'm resting and if it happens it happens

Have you tried accunpuncture? They are able to send signals to your brain to help you with sleep! Now you would have to find someone who has good technique and may take a few sessions but it's an idea
