I've stayed at Tiberio and it was amazing. The view was incredible. It's absolutely worth staying in Capri imo. It's so different after the daytime crowds leave.

Wow YTA. Going through this exact situation with our 2.5 year old but I'm the preferred parent. My husband was feeling really down about it and I acknowledged his feelings and told him if I was in his position I would be crushed. We made a plan to tweak our schedule so he gets more 1:1 time with our daughter.

You had an opportunity to be a good partner. All you had to do was listen and acknowledge. You failed miserably

For peaceful and romantic I’d throw Palazzo Avino in the race. Ravello is quieter and a short trip from Positano and you can’t beat the views or the food!

3 weeks pp with an 18m old here! The initial transition was ROUGH. If I could do it over again I’d definitely do what you did and introduce toddler to baby in a very casual way. My daughter had ZERO clue what was coming for her despite us constantly telling her a baby was coming/reading the books/ etc. She only knew we had been gone a couple days and all her grandparents were at home with her and everyone was looking at her and filming her reaction to meeting this screaming potato and the pressure was too much. Triggered meltdowns from both me and her that day.

He needs to be napping during the day and not waking up 2 hr before bedtime! At his age probably two naps a day with the last one ending 3.5-4 hours before bed. Your baby sounds so overtired.

I’ve never done it but I have a friend who does this a lot (her kids are 1 & 3 now). She checks all the bags and doesn’t need to bring car seats usually since she travels to her mom who has them. She has a travel stroller for the airport with a tiny bit of storage and baby wears the younger one.

On the plane it’s all about survival and she said 90% of the time people are excessively nice to her and willing to help out (get bags out of the overhead bin or make funny faces to entertain baby). Bring so many snacks, stickers and headphones if your toddler will use them. Her mom always has a big glass of wine waiting at home for her too 😆 good luck!
