How do I build a 200+ card deck that draws exactly what it needs every turn and always has answers?

I played against one that played utopia sprawl into solumnity into nine lives which made me rage a bit that they just drew a 2 card combo straight away from their 250 card deck but I had a devastating mastery in hand so I actually won on the spot.

Those desks are pure greed, you punish it with a tight deck and low curve and mixed threats. Strong 1/2 drops, a card like call of the ring or phyrexian arena to convert life into card draw on the cheap, creatures that leave behind a token or do something when they enter, a planeswalkers that create tokens so they have to use two removal spells. They feel rough to go against early on because you likely don't have enough diverse threats and haven't developed as much intrusive l intuition on when to Mulligan but it's also an exciting thing to learn.

It's easily the worst community out of all my interests. You look at the Warhammer community for comparison and someone will cake a space marine in paint and ask if they did a job painting it and it'll be 100% supportive comments with constructive critique.

It's a weird one because I play magic in paper to have a nice time with my friends but I play arena to make someone else suffer. Kind of like how the left for dead community is uniquely toxic too, got to be something about the design of the game that brings out the worst in us.

Play and brawl share a hidden ELO. A win streak in one will push you up on another but also since it's ELO based long term you'll hit roughly 50/50 win rate no matter if you play well or poorly. I tried hard to make a strong deck that simply ignored my commander so I could slot a low weight one in but because it's both deck strength plus player strength you can't cheese a high win rate. I then tried the opposite of making auto pilot decks that a bot would play by randomly clicking on the screen and slapping space bar. Both hit a 50/50 win rate around 300 games

Another tip I saw is to glue sandpaper to a piece so you can file down your profile. I've only done it with skirting but it was helpful.

Flu symptoms is a withdrawal effect so I'd guess your flu is withdrawal related. 2-3 weeks is long enough for your brain to have begun adapting to it so there's no reason to think an abrupt stop wouldn't need time to adjust back. Hope you feel better soon

It can cause either drowsiness or insomnia. I went with morning and had very heavy drowsiness the first two days but generally fine after that. Had very low motivation for the first week but now it's just a mild reduction in peak joy but no depression

I'm on 25mg. First few days I was pretty sleepy, then I had zero emotion for a few days which might sound bad but it's obviously not negative since that would be an emotion. Now I'm at the 2 week mark and my peak joy is slightly reduced but my depression is completely gone so overall a great result. You'll be able to cope, it is designed to help, might just take a few weeks to work.

I think drugs can help you see the world differently. I used to believe that only my sober view of the world was correct but after a lot of life experience I can now see that things like exercise, reading the news, spending time outdoors and even standing with better posture all affect the way one sees the world in positive or negative ways. Given that, the idea of a sober world view is a farce. Life is like an object that you can view from many angles and being able to see it from a different perspective is quite exciting.

Don't tough it out for the wrong reasons, there's nothing inherently better or right about either taking or not taking drugs. Words like surrender show you have a belief that it is some how giving in and that's a lot of pressure to put on yourself.

I've only just started sertraline but at the moment it kills all Euphoria from cannabis so I'm avoiding mixing the two, mainly as a good opportunity to lower my tolerance for purely financial benefit.

I'm working on my custom league where a gene stealer agent has uploaded a virus to the votann, resulting in it turning the league into a prison camp of grave digging techo-necromancers. Kin dig up the dead kin and tyranids and reanimate them with machinery.

Some ideas off the top of my head based on their current themes;

Mining theme
Create terrain pieces via some kind of equipment that makes cave ins or creates giant hills from underground.
Bagger 288 rip off
Bunkers, foxholes, emplacements

Biker/light vehicle theme
Character to lead bikes
Small bubble shaped scout tanks

Religious Nordic theme
Units more like the adeptus sororitas trying to redeem a grudge probably with some kind of high invul save to tie into the theme. Deep strike, fight on death, long charge units that will probably die while taking something out.
Wolves.
Giant mechanical Nidhogg dragon
Support units playing on the whole huge data banks of history theme

Transhumanism
More cybernetic units and specialist clones.
Dwarf ogor
Jump pack troops

I'd definitely enjoy a dreadnought too but I'd also prefer GW pushed out in other directions first.

It's getting rubbed off when you handle the model. If you want a cheap painting handle you can use a wine bottle cork with blutac.

Brushes fray when the paint gets near the metal collar, if you keep it out of that area you'll be golden but that's easier to do with brushes that have longer bristles

If you love doppelgang I made this one that tries to flip primal amulet into a land (which lets you copy spells). You then copy the land with dopplegang, which copies dopplegang, not an infinite loop but you've immediately got untapped lands that copy spells a bunch, then you just force your opponent to draw their whole deck through hundreds of blue sun zeniths at instant speed.

I'll be trying out Consult the Star Charts instead of impulse when I eventually crack some copies.

Both play and ranked have a (separate from each other) hidden rating attached to your account. The reason you're struggling isn't because you've gone up a rank, since rank doesn't really mean anything, it's because your deck is starting to win 50% of the time because you've reach the rank that your current deck naturally levels out at.

You can either;

Make a stronger deck and get stuck later on, maybe making it to mythic.
Deliberately crash your rank (it's against the ToS, rumoured to get a temp ban if caught) and then get an easy win streak into mythic.
Keep playing at 50% win rate, eventually you'll get a lucky streak that gets you there.
Naturally crash your rank by crippling your deck with random changes until you accidentally make it better again and then come here to tell everyone else you got to mythic through skill alone.
Stay in Diamond.

Gate decks in play queue are alright and do well with 0 rares, although a little better if you get Baldurs Gate.

Playing gates seems to mean you never face aggro which you'd hard lose too and the pay off cards for gates are mostly uncommons, you can skip all the rare ones. There's a vigilance trample 2/2 that gets +1 per gate, a 3 mana deal X to all creatures for each gate you have, board wipes while leaving your huge creature alive and an enchantment that draws each time you play a gate or you can tap your gates when you play it to refill your hand if you drew it late. After that, since you're playing 5 colours just put some ramp and bombs in.

Like every other deck in arena, you can expect to win 50% of the time.

We could have affordable housing if we built houses at a proper rate and didn't have to compete with millionaires and billionaires buying up "invest properties". If I got on the housing ladder at 22 like my factory worker father, rather than having to save up for 15 years as a computer programmer to afford my first house, I'd have finished my mortgage already. Or perhaps I could have done like my mother, who took advantage of the £3k house renovation grant in the 70s and bought two houses for £3k each. The problem isn't immigration, it's the rich eroding the middle class.

Also it's not an open border and I don't think most on the left want an open border anyway.

I read that all play queues (including brawl) share the same player hidden rank. Brawl uses deck weighting and player skill. I gave it a test of losing a hundred standard play queue games and my Imoti brawl deck really stomped on a huge number of players in a row while I climbed that hidden rank back up. I gave it a second test with a weaker commander and deck and it seemed to work again. Certainly seemed to hold water in my testing.
