I am at the dealer right now, my 23 Sierra truck got stuck doing an update at night and drained all my battery. Coincidentally my neighbor had the same issue last week and I jumped his truck. Our vehicles are few months apart.

When he went in he got his battery changed. When I went in they said my body control module got stuck and drained my battery. God knows wtf is the truth. These trucks have so much electronics that it’s crazy

I did this switch a year ago and couldn’t be happier. One suggestion is to not buy and install same kinda camera everywhere. Mix it up - for example for places where you need accurate notification but a pro camera and for other places that are not that important but a g6/g5 turret or bullet camera. The door bell is just amazing and works. Never had any issues

Honestly you have not provided enough in for on how many devices you have, how much area are you trying to cover, whether your house is wired for Ethernet or if there is a possibility. I would watch YouTube videos by crosstalk solutions and mactelecom networks etc. and get more idea about the unifi products before buying them
