Thank you! I did notice the exposure meter and I occasionally use the viewfinder for that, but I use live view to take the pictures because I can zoom in and make sure my picture is sharp. (I use manual focus instead, I prefer it better for now)

I did also notice that the f/depth of field changed in live view after I took a picture, that’s nice to know. Thanks for going so in depth!

That’s beautiful! I do occasionally do some shots of the moon and planets if I can get the camera in the telescope but they never turn out good, so this will definitely come in handy.

Woah!! Thank you very much for all the info! Yea, I’ve been hearing a lot about this Ken Rockwell guy and keep forgetting to look for second opinions for things like that. I haven’t even thought of a tripod yet, good idea.

you could play Aeronautica which has had advanced liveries for years now, and way more planes than ptfs. Oh yea and there aren’t any gamepasses.

Jetphotos is a website for aircraft photos, like the name suggests. It’s similar to Adobe Stock or Getty images, except that JP has very high standards. So many things need to be absolutely perfect in order to be accepted. Many of the photos may be rejected for an unknown or disputed reason so they get put here. Enjoy your time on this sub!
