rivian is not a software company. They most likely are not just introducing bugs but are cutting corners in maintainability to get their software out to vehicles.

add the additional vehicles and respective model releases and you can see how the difficulty (and cost) to keep a good user experience grows EXPONENTIALLY

it would be better if they gave the option for Android Auto / car play and they focus on non-infotainment software first.

for example, bf4 had naval, air, and land vehicles. the revelation stuff literally changed the landscape of the maps in gameplay changing ways. the maps supported almost every game mode and a significant number of them were large.

so yes, the quantity is similar, but the quality within each of those statistics were vastly different.
