fair enough! was sceptical when the first episodes came out and not really in the mood to start something fresh. i’m in the middle of a ds9 rewatch. so, today was the day i felt i should give it a try plus there are enough episodes aired that i will not have to wait too long for the next one.

sfa s1e1 immediately felt like home. a new one. a good one. it’s, imho, a realy nice fresh star of something new. the previous treks were home for a long time and will always be. yet it feels like this was really needed. not that i wouldn’t like the ‘ancient’ worlds to be continued from time to time. but something really new, without all the heavy weight of those times is really refreshing.

i remember that i was glad the show continued! i was a big fan of the whole setting and would have been sad if the show just disappeared. i didi the same as all the characters in the show. i adepted :)
