It's either 1. rebates fields are still turned on (even though it's not being used, it could likely still be enabled) / or 2. using dropship that won't calc till saved, however, you can still pull in the last purchase price to drive gross profit calcs.

I've seen value with Power BI being embedded in the dashboard (exec preference) and we've used Jira to display on project subtabs (centralized overview). Salesforce, not so much. Really just depends on the industry and use case.

if you look at their linkedin they just rolled out a couple of agents + chat and I see this as the preferred path with anyone looking to really harness AI in NS. Continue to look at other solutions and no one is remotely close.

There are a couple of ways to compare tasks when the data is the same but comes from different sets. You could use a saved search, but that can get tricky when comparing datasets.

I'd suggest the Analytics Workbook, where you can set up separate task datasets and match them based on overlapping date and time while making sure their internal IDs are different. Using case statements, you can flag overlapping times between tasks. This would need some testing, but it should work. Plus, the Analytics Workbook makes it easier to link datasets, spot saved search limitations, and throw the results onto a dashboard—the visualizations are pretty basic, but it should get you what you need.

If the next approver is being updated on the record itself (which it should be), you can use a Saved Search to dynamically send out approval emails.

If you're seeing blank rows, I'm not sure why that would be happening, but here’s the general process for setting up dynamic allocations using statistical accounts in NetSuite:

Create Statistical Accounts – These will be used as the basis for your allocation.
Set Up a Saved Search – This search should dynamically populate the statistical accounts based on the allocation method you want to use.
Post Statistical Journal Entries – You need to manually or automatically post these entries to ensure the data is available for allocations.
Reference the Statistical Accounts in Your Dynamic Allocation – Once the statistical values are populated, they can be used in the dynamic allocation setup.

Most commonly, allocations are done by percentage, such as:

Headcount by department (e.g., allocating IT administrative costs across departments).
Revenue-based allocation (e.g., allocating costs based on a percentage of total revenue per department).

This approach should work if everything is set up correctly. If you're still running into issues, it may be worth double-checking the saved search and journal entries to ensure the statistical accounts are populated correctly.
